INTRODUCTION
In healthcare organisation, it is necessary to develop positive environment which can
foster a culture of positivity. For creating a positive environment leader of organisation promote
the behaviour of individual employee which provide the best quality service to the patient.
Patient and employee feel more respect and dignity with in the organisation by positive
environment. It is essential to make organisation culture with respectful and develop organisation
with ethics by which employee and patient behave in and effective manner. Dignity and respect
are the powerful which can helps in developing a culture of employee engagement and make and
environment effective where all people feel their value and importance. Leader of organisation
should have to focus on improving the behaviour and culture of environment which can give
positive outcomes within the organisation (Groot and et al., 2020). Leaders of healthcare
organisation make interaction with staff and demonstrate their behaviour which can helps in
building positive cooperate culture which is based on dignity and respect. This project includes
the freedom, right and responsibilities and use of power in providing care to the patient. Lastly, it
also includes the effective communication with patient which delver the best quality care to the
patient.
Question:-1
There are some ethics principal in healthcare professional which describes that patient
have right to take their own decision about their treatment. According to the case study it is
analysed that Mrs. McDonahue’s is an older women of 84 and she have advanced Alzheimer’s
Disease and she has been admitted in nursing care home from last two years. Staff members
discuses about her condition because Mrs. McDonahue’s masturbate every day which is harmful
for their body. Other staff members discuss about their rights and needs so it is necessary for her
to give rights, freedom and privacy to take decision and action for her treatment. Every patient
has right to take effective decision for their treatment. Mrs. McDonahue’s have right for their
decision what she want to do but the every masturbate give negative impact on her body.
Healthcare professional are responsible to take care of her condition and being treated with
respectful manner (Al-Bsheish and et al., 2022).
These all ethics principal states that patient have right take decision by their own but
healthcare provider also responsible to analyse the harms which is causes within the body. Mrs.

McDonahue’s have ethics right to take their decisions but healthcare provider are responsible to
analyse the harm and causes occurs within their body. Healthcare providers are responsible for
protecting and other personal and private information of Mrs. McDonahue’s. Healthcare care
provider analysis that Mrs. McDonahue’s masturbates every day which is not healthy for their
body and causes weakness and other diseases. It is necessary to motivate Mrs. McDonahue’s
about their health to stop masturbating daily because it is harmful for their body. In nursing home
many staff members disagree with Mrs. McDonahue’s activity because it is armful for their
body. Healthcare provider motivate her with dignity and respective manner by which she
understand the side effects of masturbation and she follows the instructions of healthcare
provider. Nurses and doctor listen and understand McDonahue’s situation in polite manner and
being treated with care and compassion. Healthcare provider is responsible for analysing her
views and consideration in their health treatment and give her privacy and actively respected
their dignity (Di Bianca and Mahalik, 2022).
Patient rights are a subset of human rights which describes about the minimum standard
for the person to take decision according to their needs and choice. Mrs. McDonahue’s have
ethics rights in which she being treated by healthcare provider and they respect her consideration
of their choice of treatment and comfort. Mrs. McDonahue’s masturbate regularly which have
both positive and negative impact. Patient wellness is also necessary healthcare provider is more
responsible to prevent her from other side effects of masturbate on her body because already her
body is weak and have alzheimer’s diseases. According to the ethical principles there is right to
make interaction between patient and doctor which reduces the patient emotional and physical
stress. Every healthcare provider respect the patient right and give best quality care by which
patient get aware about their condition. Nurse and healthcare provider focusing on motivating
Mrs. McDonahue’s by making respectful interaction with her and give her all rights for taking
decision and action along with they also motivate and encourage her so that she does not repeat
the same thing which give negative impact on her body (Phillips, and et al., 2020).
Healthcare treated with respectful manner instead of giving her strict instructions and
judge her for their activities because it give negative effect on patient behaviour. Healthcare
provider adopted various strategies for providing best quality care to Mrs. McDonahue’s by
encouraging her about their health and make string interaction with her so that she discussed
about the views and opinion towards the masturbate. Nurses and doctors provide them a privacy
