INTRODUCTION
Health and social care are usually related to the services that are provided in the wider
range from health and social care providers to support all age group people for their acute or
chronic diseases. Health and social care are studies which are associated with the discipline
factor based on communication and coordination that combined elements of sociology, biology,
nutrition, and ethics. Whereas, health and social care are usually regulated in order to provide
and support an individual who is facing consequences with the health issues for a longer period
(Abbott, and Wallace, 2020).
MAIN BODY
Part one: Reflection on professional value (750)
For this report and preparing for the accountability of reflection the chosen profession is adult
nursing. In addition, it is associated with the patient suffering from a variety of health conditions
that is ranging from minor injuries to major or chronic long-term diseases. Moreover, I used to
analyze various care principles and core values within the professional aspect of adult nursing
while providing care and support to the number of individuals who are facing some of the health
issues. They have usually contacted the patient's families and some of the cases are majorly
chronic diseases where the patient may be returning regularly for the treatment. Therefore, the
core values and principles of adult nursing are to provide appropriate health support to the
number of patients who are facing critical issues regards with health the core values include
principles of care, autonomy, social justice and many more are the approaches that work as a
principle within the adult nursing. I also used to follow the various scope of principles that is
autonomy, maleficence, non-beneficence, social justice, and many more which play an
accountable and measurable role within the healthcare services as a part of adult nursing
(Bareham and et. al., 2020).
It is very important to initiate adult nursing with all the health care settings because it plays
an essential role in providing support and care to the patient in an effective way. Adult nursing is
usually termed as a profession that is regulated with the standards and ethics that usually focus
on the patient scenarios with the reference of care and support. Adult nursing also follows the
monitoring of the patient and provides proper medication and education for their disease and also
supports the patient in the regular checkups or the weekly checkups. They usually provide a

range of instruction that is based on pre and post scenario in terms of care and treatment.
Moreover, they get communicated with the physician or doctor for the support of the patient and
make proper coordination and communication between both in order to assist the patient and the
appropriate way for the recovery of chronic diseases (Buse, Martin, and Nettleton, 2018).
They usually help people in their family’s cope with illness and provide aspects and
resilience to deal with them. It is very necessary to take the support from medical staffsfor the
viable and reliable aspect of implementation that is associated with the care plan as a nurse.
There is always forefront of changes in the health and public health which must provide aspect
for the delegation of unnecessary health disorders or disease by providing support and care. The
primary role of a medical staffs within the healthcare setting is to advocate and care for the
individual at supporting them through health and disorders. While taking the aspect of adult
nurse, I used to act as the main point of contact for adult patient and their families and also play a
vital role as a team of professionals and medical staff to provide the proper care and support. I
used to coordinate with the doctors, social workers, and various therapists to take proper
monitoring of the patient and educate them regards with the complexities and complications
which may arise due to the disease factor. In this, I always support the patient on their emotional
and cognitive aspect to provide their well-being as well as fulfilling the need of medical factors
which must require in order to minimize or to reduce the impact of health issues (Henderson and
et. al., 2018).
Part two: Glossary of key terms, and concept (1700)
Fairness Fairness is defined as a quality of making judgments that is usually free
from the aspect of discrimination. In addition, when someone used to
show their fairness in order to make the decision then they are pleasing all
parties involved and offering the best solution which is based on
attraction for everyone. In order to understand fairness, there is an
example defined as just and reasonable treatment following the accepted
rules and principles. Moreover, treating all the people in an equal way
and applying reasonable punishment when the rules are used to be broken
indicate the example of fairness.

Dignity Dignity is defined as a right of any individual which is valued and
respected for them in the aspect. In addition, they are usually treated in
the same way that's the norms and ethics are used to be stated. It is the
significant approach based on morality, ethics, law, and politics as an
extension of the concept that is inherent rights. Therefore, dignity also
states that it is a way of appearing or behaving which recommended
seriously and some of the self-control aspects that show nobility or
dignity (Leichsenring, 2019).
Respect Respect is also defined as esteem where a positive feeling or action is
usually analyzed for someone or something that is considered as
important or held a high team or regard. Usually, respect is a deep feeling
which shows admiration for someone or something that is followed by
abilities qualities, or achievements. Moreover, it also states that relation
or reference is associated with any particular thing or situation that must
remark towards the respect that is based on particular attention or
consideration.
Compassion Compassion is usually referred to as a factor that motivates people to go
out of their way in order to help others based on physical mental or
emotional pain of themselves or another. Compassion is usually showing
some of the regards that are having sensitivity that is associated with the
emotional aspect of suffering. For example, if someone tries to show
kindness, caring, and an aspect of willingness to help others then it is
known as compassion. In addition, this word is usually indicating an
aspect that follows positive emotions that is thoughtful and decent
behavior and respective feeling for someone (Martin, Math, and
Renaudat, 2018).
Primary care Primary care is usually defined as support and care that is held in the
health care setting day-to-day. In addition, the primary care provided is
usually trained in such a way that helps to prevent, diagnose, and treat the
condition or situation that may create health issues among the individual
for a prolonged period. Therefore, primary care is generally included

preventive services, interventions, strategies, and ways that include the
services for diabetes and cancer screening. Diagnosis and particular
treatment for such injuries are based on acute behavior. In addition to
this, they also follow self-management and management of the long-term
condition that is associated with the patient.
Secondary care Secondary care is usually defined as a taken care of by someone who has
more specific expertise about the situation or condition. To understand
secondary health care, there is an example where the medical situation
requires secondary care services that include cancer treatment, medical
care for pneumonia, and other critical and certain infections which require
appropriate care and support. They are always accessible for broken
bones. Moreover, secondary health care is usually a field of expertise that
is regulated by specialized treatment and support provided by doctors and
other healthcare professionals for the individual who is usually referred to
specific expert care that is most often provided in the healthcare settings
for hospitals (Pathare, Brazinova, and Levav, 2018).
Tertiary care Tertiary care is the aspect that is followed by just secondary care in the
healthcare settings. Whereas, tertiary care states that it is highly
specialized medical care support that is usually over an extended period
that usually involves advanced and complex procedures of treatment. It is
regulated by an expert of medical professionals that show their specialty
in state-of-the-art facilities when it is compared with primary care or with
secondary care. In addition, there are some examples of tertiary care are
coronary artery Bypass surgery, dialysis, plastic surgery, neurosurgeries,
and many more that require tertiary care. Whereas, tertiary care is a level
over of secondary health care that requires special medical care and
support for the patient to overcome health issues.
Social exclusion Social exclusion is referred as the complex and dimensional process
which usually involve the lack of denial of resources, rights and services
and the instability in order to participate in the normal relationship and
activities, available to the majority of people in the aspect of society

whether in the aspect of economic, social, cultural and political region
and demographics.
Safeguarding Safeguarding is defined as the action which is taken in order to promote
the welfare of children and used to protect them from the situation of
harm. It clearly states that they protect children from the abuse and
maltreatment that used to ensure children grow with the provision of safe
and care that is effective.
Social justice Social justice is justice in the term of contribution of wealth,
opportunities and privileges with the aspect of society. Social justice
assigns rights and duties in the aspect of the path of society that enable
people to get advantage and burden of coordination (Pollock and et. al.,
2020).
Health inequality The health inequalities are defined as avoidable aspect and unfair variable
in health status which is associated between the group of people and
communities. People are usually living most deprived areas that spend
towards the third lives in poor health, compared with the only about the
sixth for those in the least deprived regions and demographics.
Health promotion The health promotion is defined as procedure which is effective in order
enable people to enhance control over and help to improve, their health. It
is also concentrated on the individual behavior that provide towards a
wide range of social and environmental interventions that help to reduce
the burden of public health.
Health protection Health protection defined as the protection of the individual, groups and
populations through the effective teamwork and collaboration of the
experts which help to identify, prevent and mitigate the impacts of the
infectious disease and the environment, chemical and many more.
Person-centered care The person-centered approach which is show the indication that provide
the aspect of focusing on the elements of the care, support and they have
aspect of treatment that matter most to the patients, their family and
carers. In addition, they have taken the aspect of thinking that provide
measurement, the priority is to identify that is based on the important to

them, without making the assumptions which is required (Robertson and
et. al., 2019).
Interprofessional
working
Interprofessional working is defined as the teamwork which is related
with the mean by which various healthcare professional and staff. It is
usually based on the different diverse knowledge, skills and talents with
the collaboration to achieve the common goals and objectives. The care
pathways that help to increase teamwork by promoting the proper
communication, coordination and provide aspect for the decision making
in order to achieve the optimal healthcare outcomes. In addition, the
interprofessional collaboration which is usually occur when the two or
more professions that based on work together for the common goals.
Integrated working Integrated working is defined where the everyone used to support
children and young people that effectively help to put the child at the
center, in this, they meet their need and help to improve their lives and
provide proper standard of living. In addition, the integrated working
which is based on the center of making a real difference that is related
with the lives of young people, children associated families.
Professional
accountability
In addition, the professional accountability is defined as the aspect which
is followed with the commitment that is help to make individual and their
career. It is also provided support in order to become a medical staffs that
is based on the advance level, grow effect effectively, improve their
function and used to adopt to their own work. It is based ownership which
comes from the being fully engaged in the work and they have felt a
sense of pride in the adopted profession. To understand this, it is
associated with the care setting on the acute level. When the medical
staffs used to receive the report from the outgoing nurse, there are some
of the aspects which is reliable with the transfer of accountability from
one person to another. The concerning associated medical staffs is
responsible and answerable for the feeling and behavior and show the
outcome of a group of patients for the duration shift (Tanner, Ward, and
Ray, 2018).

independent as well as direct specialized education, must not be confused with medical specialty
that depends on early general trainings. The medical staffs and midwives are generally first and
sometimes the only care workers which the people see and their quality of initial assessments,
care as well as the treatment is quite important (Midwifery, 2014).
Social work: It is an academic discipline as well as a profession that is specifically based
on practice. It more specifically concerns itself with person, their families and across community
as a whole in an effective effort in order to meet their basic requirements. Through social work,
it can also improve the social functioning, a self-determination, shared responsibilities, its best
well-being and a whole health. In this, the practice of social work is more often divided into sub
components such as micro-work, that includes working directly with people or small groups and

a macro-work, that can include working with communities as well as can provide alterations on a
large platform through social policy (Social Work, 2022).
Physiotherapy: It is often called as physical therapy and is one of the allied health
professions among all the professions. Physiotherapy can effectively aid people or patients in
restoring their movements as well as the functions when an individual is majorly affected by an
illness or injury or any kind of disability. Through physiotherapy, it can aid the affected people
through various specific exercises, a manual therapy as well as an advice or through knowledge.
The following profession can effectively aid to support the development as well as can ease the
recovery process by allowing people to stay active in their work or life as well. Through
accessing physiotherapy or physical therapies, it can specifically help people to remain
independent as long as possible (What is physiotherapy? 2022).
Part five: Reflection on Interprofessional Team Working (750)
This part is usually focus on the team working which is based on the aspect of reflection
which is associated with the aspect of team working that provide an essential vision of
productivity that is followed within the team. The team working for this part is usually focus on

provide research and many more.
While taking the aspect of national drive health care social care and public health factors,
they are usually indicating the growth of healthcare industries and enhancing the awareness
when the disease is showing their appearance which is based on the lifestyle changes. In
addition, the rising of disposable income and enhance healthcare expenditure is also accountable
impact which is act as a main driver of the healthcare industries. In this, the greater prevalence of
healthcare insurances among the masses of people and a higher level of health care financing and
support is work as a key consideration of the drivers on the national level within the United
Kingdom. In addition to this, they are related to interprofessional collaboration because
prevention and controllability is the major aspect which is usually followed by health care
professionals regards with any disease that may be acute or chronic depending on the criteria and
inclusion of peoples with the disease. It is very essential to work as a team to reduce the
implications that create complexities in terms of health and public health. Moreover, within a
teamwork, I used to play a role of the adult medical staffs where I was supposed to create a care
plan and make them implemented in order to produce an advantage for the patient health by

reducing the complication and consequences that they suffer for a prolonged period (Robertson
and et. al., 2019).
Patient care is referred as a top priority within nursing as a medical staffs are used to create
various accountability and measurable aspect for the patient to receive the best healthcare
possible. With the proper mode of communication and interaction with the professionals about
the patient treatment planned. While also create an understanding the role of each assigned team
member, it is very difficult to work within a team because it requires proper communication and
coordination among all professionals for the patient treatment. It is challenging as a medical staff
for me to make proper coordination and communication to all the professionals but it is required
for me to provide beneficial support to the patient in recovering of chronic diseases. It is also
analysed that the medical staffs usually play a role that act as a bridge between doctors, patient
and hospitals while working in a team that usually followed by me with the proper reporting and
preparing documentation of patient and take appropriate instruction from the health professionals
regard with the patient for their optimum recovery. In addition, teamwork and collaboration is
the critical role is performed by me with the aspect of patients.
There are some of the benefits which is usually optimized when I used to work in
teamwork in nursing. It is helpful to improve patient satisfaction and outcome because within the
healthcare setting the professional used to provide treatment to the patient not as an individual
provider but as a multidisciplinary team. These teams are usually including medical staffs,
primary care and specialist. In addition, when a medical staffs communicates regularly with the
patient-physician and therapist, they are usually offering a wide range of personalized support
and care to the patient than enhance the patient satisfaction and their outcome. Moreover, on a
personal level, it is also helpful for me to enhance job satisfaction and the nursing profession.
Various challenges cannot be possibly reduced without any support. It is usually full of high-
stress situation due to the long working hours so as a nurse, I used to work with them then it
creates an organized line of communication which create an impact on the daily work
responsibilities due to the participation and contribution of team for the prior task (Pathare,
Brazinova, and Levav, 2018).
Moreover, it is also useful to increase professional accountability with the aspect of
teamwork contributing directly to accountability in nursing. Various challenges enhance by
keeping medical staffsin the loop and reinforce the changes towards the policies and procedures.

Moreover, the healthcare settings and other healthcare environments are facing difficulties that
can create less frequent accountabilities offers and many more. Due to the team working, I also
get benefits on a smaller scale whereas at the same time I get attentive supervisors on the team
who usually check and assess the work typically have more accountability. Within such aspect,
an organized chain of communication is associated within the team that helps regards with the
patient complaints or incident effectively and make the changes which are meaningful and
provide comfort to the patient in an instant way and this is usually happening due to the team
working. The working in a team helps me to provide an aspect to make the contribution in
productive way within the healthcare setting and develop quality of health and care among the
people (Martin, Math, and Renaudat, 2018).
