INTRODUCTION
Health and social care are usually related to the services that are provided in the wider
range from health and social care providers to support all age group people for their acute or
chronic diseases. Health and social care are studies which are associated with the discipline
factor based on communication and coordination that combined elements of sociology, biology,
nutrition, and ethics. Whereas, health and social care are usually regulated in order to provide
and support an individual who is facing consequences with the health issues for a longer period
(Abbott, and Wallace, 2020).
MAIN BODY
Part one: Reflection on professional value (750)
For this report and preparing for the accountability of reflection the chosen profession is adult
nursing. In addition, it is associated with the patient suffering from a variety of health conditions
that is ranging from minor injuries to major or chronic long-term diseases. Moreover, I used to
analyze various care principles and core values within the professional aspect of adult nursing
while providing care and support to the number of individuals who are facing some of the health
issues. They have usually contacted the patient's families and some of the cases are majorly
chronic diseases where the patient may be returning regularly for the treatment. Therefore, the
core values and principles of adult nursing are to provide appropriate health support to the
number of patients who are facing critical issues regards with health the core values include
principles of care, autonomy, social justice and many more are the approaches that work as a
principle within the adult nursing. I also used to follow the various scope of principles that is
autonomy, maleficence, non-beneficence, social justice, and many more which play an
accountable and measurable role within the healthcare services as a part of adult nursing
(Bareham and et. al., 2020).
It is very important to initiate adult nursing with all the health care settings because it plays
an essential role in providing support and care to the patient in an effective way. Adult nursing is
usually termed as a profession that is regulated with the standards and ethics that usually focus
on the patient scenarios with the reference of care and support. Adult nursing also follows the
monitoring of the patient and provides proper medication and education for their disease and also
supports the patient in the regular checkups or the weekly checkups. They usually provide a

range of instruction that is based on pre and post scenario in terms of care and treatment.
Moreover, they get communicated with the physician or doctor for the support of the patient and
make proper coordination and communication between both in order to assist the patient and the
appropriate way for the recovery of chronic diseases (Buse, Martin, and Nettleton, 2018).
They usually help people in their family’s cope with illness and provide aspects and
resilience to deal with them. It is very necessary to take the support from medical staffsfor the
viable and reliable aspect of implementation that is associated with the care plan as a nurse.
There is always forefront of changes in the health and public health which must provide aspect
for the delegation of unnecessary health disorders or disease by providing support and care. The
primary role of a medical staffs within the healthcare setting is to advocate and care for the
individual at supporting them through health and disorders. While taking the aspect of adult
nurse, I used to act as the main point of contact for adult patient and their families and also play a
vital role as a team of professionals and medical staff to provide the proper care and support. I
used to coordinate with the doctors, social workers, and various therapists to take proper
monitoring of the patient and educate them regards with the complexities and complications
which may arise due to the disease factor. In this, I always support the patient on their emotional
and cognitive aspect to provide their well-being as well as fulfilling the need of medical factors
which must require in order to minimize or to reduce the impact of health issues (Henderson and
et. al., 2018).
Part two: Glossary of key terms, and concept (1700)
Fairness Fairness is defined as a quality of making judgments that is usually free
from the aspect of discrimination. In addition, when someone used to
show their fairness in order to make the decision then they are pleasing all
parties involved and offering the best solution which is based on
attraction for everyone. In order to understand fairness, there is an
example defined as just and reasonable treatment following the accepted
rules and principles. Moreover, treating all the people in an equal way
and applying reasonable punishment when the rules are used to be broken
indicate the example of fairness.
