Helen Keller and Tyler Perry as a Sign of Endurance/Resilience_1

Hellen Keller was an American educator born on June 27, 1880, in a family of five,
which was not wealthy and died in 1968. Hellen was stroke by illness that led her to be blind and
deaf. She read about the prosperous of another blind and deaf child named Laura Bridgman, she
got inspired about this and she travelled to Perkins Institute of blind, whereby she met with her
educator Anne Sullivan1. With the aid of her teacher, she made marvellous improvement with her
capability in communication. She left for college, and graduated in the year 1904. In the year
1920, she helped in founding ACLU, and in her lifespan, she was acknowledged with honors in
gratitude of her accomplishment. She overcame the adversity of blind and deaf and became the
leading humanitarian. Hellen Keller is an inspiration shows a good example of endurance and
resilience.
Tyler Perry was born on 13 September 1969, in a family of six. During his early
childhood life, Perry had a tough time as he grieved many years of cruelty from his father to a
point Perry changed his first name to Tyler so that he could isolate himself from his father2.
Perry once attempted to commit suicide due to difficult situations he was passing through. He
dropped out of high school, but ultimately earned a diploma later. He held many unfulfilled jobs
before he discovered his true passion of being an actor. Perry got inspired after watching an
episode of Oprah Winfrey’s talk show where he started a series of letters to himself such as I
Know I’ve Been Changed. One of his plays such as Medea, at a point it had 35, 000 people who
viewed it weekly in 2005. After many years of struggle, Perry eventually earned critical claims
and commercial success in his acting career as his plays continued to make a successful leap to
