INTRODUCTION
Successful entrepreneurs are those which have performed well in their lives and have
enabled themselves to use skills and abilities effectively in business. The following report
includes the information about a successful entrepreneur naming Henry Ford.
Background life of Henry Ford
Henry Ford was born in 1863 and he was the son of Mary and William ford. He worked as a
machinist in Detroit. he was an American industrialist and businessman magnate (Anwar, and
Daniel, 2016). He was the founder of Ford motor company and developer of assembly line
technique of mass production. Henry was known for introducing model T which has brought
revolution in transportation industry of America. He used to operate and service steam engines
and it work occasional stints
in Detroit factories. After few years, Henry went back to his family and started working on
family farm. In the year 1891, Henry Ford was hired as an engineer for Edison illuminating
company. He worked well in the company and he got promoted as chief engineer within 2 years.
Ford put his efforts for building a gasoline powered horseless carriage (de Sá, Farhangmehr, and
Pinho, 2016). He developed quadricycle that includes a light metal frame which is fitted with 4
bicycle wheels. Ford sold this cycle for developing and building more vehicles. There were
several investors who came over to talk about investing in ideas which are made by Henry. After
7 years, Henry developed his own company named as Detroit automobile company. This was
later known as Henry Ford company.
Factors that motivated Henry Ford to become successful entrepreneur
Henry Ford was the founder of American Ford motor company. This is an organisation which is
well recognised across the world because of its success. Henry Ford is popular for the way of
thinking as well as leading that it follows while managing business. The legacy of Henry Ford
consists of of various memories and quotes that can be accumulated for knowing about powerful
philosophy of entrepreneurship. He was a successful leader as well as individual whose main aim
was to provide great heights to Ford motor company (Kilenthong, Hultman, and Hills, 2016).

entrepreneur, the person must follow his or her passion and do that work which will help in in
getting success in business.
Failures are opportunities - Henry Ford failed a lot of times before he got success. The case of
failure among entrepreneurs is very common and it is essential for a successful entrepreneur to
be motivated and keep working towards achieving aims and objectives (Whalen, and Akaka,
2016). Generally all people tend to downplay failures. There is no such individual in the world
who is immune to failure. These are opportunities which are disguised as negative events. Failure
provide an opportunity to start the work again with full confidence and more efforts. Failures are
known as teachers as they help in knowing what were the factors at which the person lacks and
what should be done to achieve success next time. It is not easy for a person to experience failure
again and again. This lowers the motivational level of individual and creates emotional
disappointment. Failures are known as feedback which provides a course for life experience (Li,
2016). Please provide knowledge about what is not good for the person to work. When a person
is not successful in his or her work, failure teaches what went wrong and what must be done for
achieving success.
Be as strong behind-the-scenes as you are anywhere else- entrepreneurs have to you look
impressive by sharing their stories of putting efforts and succeeding in their life. There are few
people what not able to provide valuable products or services and by doing this, they are not able
to rise as successful entrepreneurs. According to Henry Ford, quality means doing it right it
when no one is looking. According to his point of view, business should not exist for impressing
others. It should be able to engage with the processes and attending all the details and achieving

Don’t be a show off- Henry Ford was a person who was known to be modest. He always dress in
informal clothes. Henry Ford has shared his talk with secretary for explaining this aspect (Lientz,
and Rea, 2016). Once he was travelling to foreign lands in case of a business deal. No one could
recognise Henry Ford because of his dressing. His secretary suggested that he should wear more
modest clothes. Henry Ford told in reply that he did not want to be bothered dressing up for
individuals who don't even know who is Henry Ford. He wanted that people should recognise
him on the basis of work that he has done and success which he has achieved. Clothes do not
play any role in success of any person.
One should not be in business only for making money - according to Henry Ford, a business
that it makes only money is a poor business. There are many businesses which are are only
running in order to grab more and more cash. They are focused on weaker impulses of customers
and their needs. Search businesses can enjoy luxurious facilities but on the other hand they will
always live in shame. It is very important for a business to be provider of a real value (Nikias,
2019). No doubt, money has an important value within business. But it is also important to do
something good for an individual and achieving financial success. This will provide more
satisfaction to business person. Henry Ford is known as a person who has made lot of money in
his business tenure. Moreover, he is also known for developing assembly line which has helped
several automobile organisations to sell their great cars in process.
3 T's ( Talent, temperament, technique)
 Talent – It is essential for successful entrepreneur that they must have specific talent and
skills so that they can attain success. Henry Ford was a talented person and he always
works for attaining success in business. He was able to manage and control the business
operations in effective manner. Talented entrepreneurs will be able to manage and control
the activities and tasks that are helpful in achieving success. It is essential that
entrepreneurs have the proper management so that they are able to manage and control
the business activities and opportunities effectively.
Temperament – Henry Ford was having a cool temperament. He was always able to manage and
control the various activities by having positive temper (Daniel, and Daniel, 2018). It is
concluded that Henry handles various problems with positive temper and analysing the situations
in an effective manner. The management of all the business operations is important for achieving

success in life. It is important for the entrepreneurs to have great evaluation over various
problems so that they can manage their work properly. A positive thought and vision over life is
important so that problems are solved effectively. Person with positive temper is important in
order to complete the projects effectively.

aims and objectives. Henry Ford was involved in preparing various innovative strategies
in order to accomplish the objectives and aims of the company. It is essential for an
entrepreneur so that they are able to analyse the new processes and techniques so that
work is done in proper manner. New innovations are done in automobile industry by
Henry Ford for managing various business activities and tasks in effective manner.

effectively. Henry Ford was an entrepreneur who used his ego in in proper manner and is is able
to to analyse the factors which will help in grabbing success.
Team - this is known as last factor of this model. It is related with the the ability of entrepreneur
to build a successful team. For doing a successful business, it is important to develop successful
teams which can work hard for achieving objectives and goals. Henry Ford has developed
successful teams while establishing Ford motor company.
From this model, it is analysed that Henry Ford was a successful entrepreneur because of his
way of thinking positive and putting best efforts for achieving aims and objective of life. Failure
is just an another opportunity which has to be used carefully so that next time it is easy to grab
