Today tourism is one of the industry that is
growing on a fast speed. This is one of the
sector that play a significant role in economy of
a nation and contribute more in economic
development of nation. Mainly, cultural tourism
is known as the experience which a person gain
after visit a specific destination. Huge number
of development has taken place in tourism
sector as given under the following points
1950- 19551840-1949 Growth and development
In this era, government
started doing protection of
different historical places in
order to attract large number
of individuals. Further,
government started hiring
large number of workers for
maintain the places and offer
better services to visitors.
This was the time when
government was not provided
funds and not even
formulated policies for
protect tourist and various
destinations. At that time,
Thomas Cook was the first
enterprise that took its crew
members in Egypt for the
very first time.
Government of every nation do huge amount
of efforts to develop the various cultural and
historical sites in order to attract large number
of travellers. With this aim, government form
partnership with various private enterprises. In
addition to this, government of United
Kingdom is rendering various ways to enhance
the number of visitors.
Attractive: Various cultural and heritage places
are there in United Kingdom, from all those
places various sites are so attractive that it
attracts millions of individual every year.
These sites consists palace, forts, rivers etc.
Natural: Large number of natural tourist
destinations are there in United Kingdom
which influence so many people to visit.
National parks, coastline and landscapes are
there in addition to this different type of spices
such as black rat and cat attract large number
of individuals.
Contracted heritage environment: Different
places are there in UK which have their own
historic values and all these attract various
individuals. Different people come to visit the
Queen's Palace and parliament all these
provide them information about the incidents
took place in past.

This was the time, in which government
introduced so many reforms in its
system because old system was very
complex and costly also. Due to this
government carry out various changes in
the overall system in order to utilise all
available equipment in a better way and
to satisfy the needs of travellers.
1959-1987
Under this era, different refers was
introduced by the government to get
positive outcomes and to boost up the
growth of tourism sector.
1956- 1958
Huge development in tourism sector took place in this era
because various number of firms started to offered effective and
affordable tour packages to its customers to move from one
place to another and around the world consists various cultural
places. Due to globalisation, economy of whole world merge.
