Hi Emma,
Developmental Psychology assesses human growth as well as modification crossways the
longevity, counting bodily, cognitive, community, academic, perceptual, traits and the new
growth. The learning of developmental psychology is basically on the growth of human beings,
their life span and their change of behaviour in their growing years. Developmental psychology
is somehow related to the growth of children. (Shaffer D.R., Kipp K., 2007 pg-1)
Children psychology is also a developmental phase where the children pass through several
aspects from parental development to teenage years. The child psychology not just deals with the
growth of children physically other than the growth of children mentally, socially and
emotionally. Child psychology is very complex to understand as childhood plays a vital role
because it shapes up the rest of life during childhood there are different factors which somehow
influences the child psychology such as parenting, schooling, peer-pressure etc. (Cherry K.,
2019)
There are many contexts while understanding child psychology, such as the social
situation, the social situation and the socioeconomic situation. These contexts define child
psychology in a remarkably smoother way and in a broader way. (Cherry K., 2019)
Child psychology includes a wide range of topics which can be looked after to understand the
growth and the development of the child. The development of the child based on their, their
social, emotional, and mental growth. (Cherry K., 2019)
The child psychology or child growth can define into two ways, i.e. continuous growth and
discontinuous growth. In this growth, we can say that the child in constant growth is growing in
a linear where the growth is happening, but in intermittent growth, the growth is abrupt. (Shaffer
D.R., Kipp K., 2007 pg-69)
So these are the way that child psychology is related to the developmental growth of human
beings.
