In business, social networks are used for the sake of promotion and marketing as amethod of communicating with the consumers. As pointed out by Lin et al. 2014, for smallbusinesses where the budget of market and promotion is kept low, social networks act as asavior to these companies. Moreover, in the recent time with the increased use of smartphones and application-based live activities the social networks have turn out to be animportant part of life of every individual that has automatically made it easier for majorbusinesses to use the social networks to reach out the particular target group of people. There is no doubt that with the introduction of the computers, thebusiness structure and networking have changed drastically. With the involvement of thesocial media sites, the use of the computer and its application in business has taken a newturn and has made it easier to reach out the target group of people irrespective of the distancebetween the business and the people. Uses of social network in business:As pointed out by Maier et al. (2015), the two most important perspectives of thesocial media are to make better communication and reach out people irrespective of thedistance and gap between the target group and the actual business head. In the recent time,there are more than 3 billion internet users with almost 2 billion active social networkingmedia users. This has given the opportunity to the small and big businesses to take active useof the social networks and reach out the people with the message that they intend to send. The business modelof this social network is not to sell any product but to offer space to the businesses bodies thatwould be used for the sake of marketing and promotion.
