1. Business driver
The legal documents online (LDO) is one of the organization that generally helps in
selling various types of information to the different individuals, companies as well as
property to the various conveyancers. They generally utilize these types of information while
properly dealing with different types of commercial matters, purchase of property as well as
litigation. The various types of information which are generally shared mainly include
information about the company, property title certificates, rate certificate as well as different
types of property description. In addition to this, it is analyzed that the organization is
generally planning to implement an information system for giving information. The one stop
shop will be helpful in providing the opportunity of allowing the clients in placing orders,
retrieving information, monitoring status as well as providing monthly invoicing. Moreover,
this project will resolve the issue of paper based system that is utilized for managing the
operation of LDO effectively. Furthermore, if the project managers are unable to undertake
the project then the problem that is associated with the paper based system will remain and it
will negatively impact the progress of the project.
2. Project objectives
The project objectives are:
 Competitive advantage: To achieve proper competitive advantage, the organization
implements an information system for effectively managing the organizational
operations.
 Future potential: To provide proper services of information sharing in the coming
future, information system implementation by LDO is one of the important step.

 Integration: To integrate the current system with the present information system so
that the details of the past information sharing can be retrieved from the system that is
implemented when needed.
 Enable more efficient procedure: Proper efficient procedure like ordering, checking
the status of ordering, monitoring as well as retrieving information can be achieved
with the help of newly implemented information system.
3. Business benefits
The benefits that can be achieved with the help of SMART acronym are generally
elaborated below:
Specific: The LDO organization generally implements a new information system for
allowing clients in order to place orders, monitoring status as well as retrieving the search
results.
Measurable: The status report of the project generally helps in determining the
progress of the project and helps in reaching the project goal.
Assignable: The project manager mainly helps in proper implementation of
information system within the organization LDO.
Realistic: Because of the implementation of IT system, the organization generally
provides the opportunity to the client so that they c be able to place order, monitor it and cn
retrieve various types of data.
Time-related: The entire work of the project will get accomplished within 31st
December 2019.
