Leadership is defined as social relationship among two or more
individuals who depend on each other for attaining specific mutual objectives in a group
situation. A good leadership assists individuals and group reach its objectives by concentrating
on the maintenance needs of the group as well as task needs. Leaders are the individual who
would take charge in a firm and delegate roles and responsibilities to other members for
achieving the best outcomes. Management is defined as the process of organising, planning,
directing and controlling all the activities of employees in collaborating the other resources to
reach organisational objectives. It can be said that management is taking leadership concept
and putting into action. Tesco is taken as base company.

High performance work culture refers to as the set of distinct culture and
norms which lead firm towards having desirable outcomes. In high-perform working
culture, the employees are encouraged as well as work hard for reaching organisational goal
and feel aligned with organisational team, value and leadership. An effective working
performance culture has a vital role in achieving business objectives and goals and lead
firm towards a constant growth and development and offers numerous sustainable
competitive edge than other competitors.
