Cultural and behavioural expectations
of studying for a degree in business
management
Before studying for a degree in business management
there were various cultural and behavioural
expectations that were in the mind. Basically it
included language differences, teaching methods,
maintaining relation among teachers and their
teaching methods and how communication will be
established in effective manner or not. Sometimes
language creates a barrier between student and
teachers due to differences in culture and behaviour.
Culture involves attitudes and beliefs that guides the
behaviour of a person and that affects how it will
communicate through various teaching techniques. A
management degree comprises of various factors and
different teaching methods. Culture basically affects
how a student will behave why studying and how it
will understand the teaching methods and how it will
convey their teaching methods. Learning reflects in a
way that it allows learners to develop critical thinking
skills, and improving their performance through past
learnings and finding deviations. Culture impacts how
the students participate in a academic environment
and how they need to adapt its culture to
communicate with classmates and teachers. Self-
reflection helps In understanding how individual
learns and implicates. Self-learning also helps students
to be aware of their imperfections and manage it
accordingly. This also helps to critically examine their
grades and how far they achieved their goals and
what else need to be achieved in order to improve
performance. In order to ensure effective learning its
better to assign reflections during class time as this
will help in more enhancement of skills and
knowledge. Acquiring knowledge is very important as
it helps a student to perform better in class and
achieve desired grades and also to increase and
enhance its knowledge in order to work in future.
Culture and behaviour both attributes helps In
learning process in an academic institution.
Learning has a major role in overall
success of student academic career
and work life. It helps to gain
knowledge about a specified
stream. For example a business
management involves principles or
management and leadership and
how to deal with conflicts. In
addition to that it helps in
enhancing soft skills to enhance
communication, teambuilding,
problem solving and critical
thinking. Each of these soft skills
helps in adding value to student
career and helps in achieving goals.
In addition to that, it demonstrates
a stronger work ethic in order to
be determined to achieve a specific
qualification. Also learning helps in
boosting confidence to accomplish
skills and experience both in
general life and career. Also it has
been determined that greater
confidence lead to a greater career
opportunity. Learning helps in
continuous improvement and skills
needed to adapt to survive in
competition. Learning helps to
improve knowledge as well
improves confidence level as it
helps in both career growth and
personal growth.
Cultural and behavioural
expectations helps to understand
the classroom environment in a
better way and also various
assumptions and nature of
teachers, classmates and
environment helps to adjust in the
new environment. In order to be
more effective while studying its
important to understand the
teaching methods and
implementing them accordingly.
Proper communication will help in
maintaining a effective
communication process among
employees. In order to manage
and adjust in the new
environment its very important to
understand the culture and
behaviour of everyone in the
surroundings this will help in
getting effective and efficient
knowledge. Culture comprises of
various attributes that guides a
person’s behaviour in an
organization and this helps to
analyse the behaviour of teachers
and classmates. In order to ensure
better learning its important to
have deep knowledge of
environment and its people this
will help an individual to perform
better.
The importance of peer-to-peer
support and team working to enhance
learning experience
As a student, the peer-to-peer learning helped me to
exist and expand in workforce when they will join as
an professionals . IT helped me to be better team
player to work effectively and think out-of-the-box
ideas and approach single situation from various
views. It also helped to learn in an effective way of
formal and informal ways. Peer-to-peer learning
helped to start my student's journey and learn from
teachers through ways of exchanging ideas,
collaborations and sharing feedback. Peer-to-peer
learning helps to establish one-on-one connect as
education is always considered to be a social concept
and therefore learning through peers is a critical part
of teaching. It also helped in shifting from traditional
teaching methods to online teaching as use of
technologies helps students to push across boundaries
and take up new challenges as it also encourages
feedback and helped in studying in a active and
cooperative environment. It also developed skills for
reasoning and critical thinking as it helps to learn new

collaborative approach in order to
make students more effective.
Proper peer approach and team
Peer-to-peer learning helps me in
enhancing team building, skills
and it can implement in various
ways both in classroom and
workplace. Peer-to-peer learning
is important for constantly
developing their skills both in
classrooms and workplace. It can
be implemented in classrooms as
it involves Students teaching their
co-students, teachers changing
their authoritative instructor to a
learning facilitator and also it
facilitates a process where more
advanced category of students can
explain tough concepts to weaker
ones. Peer learning can be
implemented in various ways such
as role-plays, written prompts,
collaborating with another class,
