FIELD REPORT IN TAI PO, HONG KONG2EXECUTIVE SUMMARYThe purpose of this field report is to make a field visit to the famous Tai Po district in the countryof Hong Kong and to assess the historic buildings situated there, in order to give them statutoryprotection. This report includes a brief discussion of the historic buildings and social changes inthe Tai Po district of Hong Kong. This report concludes with the fact that the epoch-makingbuildings of the Tai Po district in Hong Kong is truly worthy of securing the stamp of theStatutory Protection Act. It is recommended that Tai Po district in Hong Kong must continue tomaintain and safeguard its ancient edifices and premises in the future so that the Hong Konggovernment can successfully bestow the Statutory Protection clause upon its admirableestablishments.
