1. Three reasons for the growth of state supported education in Western and Central Europe.
Challenges of the state supporters regarding state supported education?
Ans: The main target of the government in the century was to initiate reduction in the strained
system imposed by religious conflicts, socialism and requirements of the minorities. This was
for autonomy. Some of the reason for the growth of the state supported education includes
reinforcement of nationality and the existing social order. Secondly the replace of religious
obedience by the scientific ethics of social solidarity. Finally the improvement of the
legislation and the working conditions with the promotion of anti Semitism as a means to
promote loyalty towards the Christian values. Some of the challenges faced by the state
supporters regarding the system of eduction includes the challenges of equality in terms of
gender, race and ethnicity, the challenges in relation to pluralism, issues with the rate of
enrollments, mass citizenship and extensive use of child labour.
2. Structures for providing social welfare to workers in England and Germany. The need for
improved social welfare in these countries.
Ans: Social policies are associated with the orgins of the welfare state.It includes reasons
such as industrial injury, poor structures of law, old age, invalidity and sickness. The social
insurance programs and the implementation of the national policies aimed towards different
social strata. They furthermore administered the common structure in a highly decntralised
way. The structures for the provision of the social strata developed after unification and was
utilized to provide increased range of benefits. One of the major factors that induced the
introduction of the initiate to improve the soial behaviour includes poverty in Britain during
