1. Three reasons for the growth of state supported education in Western and Central Europe.
Challenges of the state supporters regarding state supported education?
Ans: The main target of the government in the century was to initiate reduction in the strained
system imposed by religious conflicts, socialism and requirements of the minorities. This was
for autonomy. Some of the reason for the growth of the state supported education includes
reinforcement of nationality and the existing social order. Secondly the replace of religious
obedience by the scientific ethics of social solidarity. Finally the improvement of the
legislation and the working conditions with the promotion of anti Semitism as a means to
promote loyalty towards the Christian values. Some of the challenges faced by the state
supporters regarding the system of eduction includes the challenges of equality in terms of
gender, race and ethnicity, the challenges in relation to pluralism, issues with the rate of
enrollments, mass citizenship and extensive use of child labour.
2. Structures for providing social welfare to workers in England and Germany. The need for
improved social welfare in these countries.
Ans: Social policies are associated with the orgins of the welfare state.It includes reasons
such as industrial injury, poor structures of law, old age, invalidity and sickness. The social
insurance programs and the implementation of the national policies aimed towards different
social strata. They furthermore administered the common structure in a highly decntralised
way. The structures for the provision of the social strata developed after unification and was
utilized to provide increased range of benefits. One of the major factors that induced the
introduction of the initiate to improve the soial behaviour includes poverty in Britain during

the 19th century.The initiate was introduced in the mindset that the poorer section of the
society should be educated for a better living and improvement in their livelihoods.
3. Reason for Jewish descent blamed for a myriad of problems across Europe. Identification

Ans: The 19th century explained a resurgence in the anti-semitism movement in Europe. Jews
were subjected to discrimination and bannes from holding political fields and subjected to
discriminatory regulations and laws. The concept of modernism and jewishness were
considered together. The notion of conservatives that were concerened by the attacks that
were anticlerical over the cathlic churches generally blamed them over the jews. Some of the
examples in connection to the economic,social and political manifestations of antisemitism
included the following. The notion of racial theory with inferiority and superiority is one of
the reason. Furthermore Jews were hated since they are responsible for the dealth of the Jesus
Christ. They are the murderers who arrogantly declare their origin as chosen ones from the
god.Prior to World War II Jews were hated since it was believed that they would infect the
race after assimilation with their inferior genes. The concept of anti semitism demonstarated
its usage as the notion of soialism of fools which deflected class hatred over the jews for
safeguarding capitalism. Anti semitism is generally a capitalist trick that is designed to
safeguard the totality of banking ,landowning and industrial class by cleverly limited
operations.
4. Challenges to the parliamentary system emerge? Two examples where attacks on the
parliamentary system were successful and two that were unsuccessful using specific
examples.

Ans: In the 19th century, the parliementsmade effective reforms for the improvement of the
lives of the individuals residing in the poorer section of the society. It initiated the
establishment of the governmental principles that included welfare provisions,regulating
working conditions in the factories , mines and hailing as the symbol of precedent for the
upcoming future. Two of the events that went successful in the early 19th century was the
Pentrich Rebellion of 1817 and Factory Act -1891- for the protection of the child and the
female labour. Two of the events or the movements that were not successful and resorted in
violence includes Flemish constituency in 1893 that organised two congress of christian
democratic priests at Bourges in 1900 and Reims in 1893 and the defeat of french right in the
elections of 1898 May.
