“To understand strategies, initiatives and methods for managing workforce that aids to
reduce equality and diversity aspect from organisational workforce.”
INTRODUCTION
The term successful business project refers to the collective values, efforts and process
which are stakes by individuals who are engaged in company workforce for accomplishing
company goals and objectives with competitive advantage in market. Business obtain success
and development through undertaking different policy specifically with human resource as it is
more favourable to obtain competitive edge in market. This report is based from perspective of
Debenhams which is retail organisation and it is operating their business at global positions.
Further, this report undertakes and focus on aims and objectives of business and also on project
management plan (Bagherzadeh and et. al., 2019). In the last, research is also conducted by
management that aids to conduct better research on the topic of equality and diversity.
TASK 1
P1 Objectives and Aims
Equality-and-diversity among the workplace enhance the work performance of an
organisation by motivating all individuals to perform their role in an appropriate manner.
Equality perspective also raise and enhance the potential for business to complete work with
ethics through performing work without discrimination and prejudice (Bell and Harrison, 2018).
AIM-“To understand strategies, initiatives and methods for managing workforce that aids
to reduce equality and diversity aspect from organisational workforce.”
Objectives
To enhance knowledge and information related with diverse workforce.
To specify impact related with equality that make diversity among organisation premises.
To examine importance of equality within company.
To measure issue related with diversity workforce.
P2 Project management plan
The term project document is describe as a document which is mention in the written
form and it includes different factors that is essential to perform and execute project among an

appropriate manner. All activities of project are managed through planning, controlling,
monitoring and executing business project to formulate essential changes for the organisation.
Some of the essential components for project management plan is mention as below:
Cost- It is the prior aspect for business and researcher that helps to manage an adequate
amount among budget that helps researcher for completing research project in an
effective manner. This is also used for attaining and executing project as per minimum
cost. Moreover, it is also used by the researcher to perform research in a easy manner by
assessing company project in easy manner.
Time- This reflect the overall period and time which is used in completing research for
managing overall project task (Englund and Graham, 2019). The vital aspect for research
deals with adequate amount through which all work is completed with right manner.
There are various task performed among project so it is important for researcher to
manage project activities in an effective time manner.
Scope- The relative outcome of project define the scope which is utilised by organisation
for managing scope perspective. From the perspective of equality-and-diversity related
scope it is easy for management to manage overall scope of company workforce. In
context of this research investigator is focused for managing suitable project activities of
project.
Quality- The effectiveness of project is conceived by the investigator for completing
research by understanding their impact which is used to perform working operations of
organisation in an accurate manner. Moreover, in quality perspective investigator is
focused to collect all information as per business enhancement.
Communication- With the understand of communication process it is analysed by
researcher that effective interaction lead all members to perform there work in a
coordinated manner. This is also used to manage and complete project within minimum
time (Enkel and et. al., 2018). Moreover, respondents interest is also generated if
investigator communicate with them in a proper manner.
Risk- The ability to complete research define the potential benefit and gain that is used to
complete project in an accurate manner. This is also necessary for organisation to remove
all risk aspect from project for obtaining better outcomes from the information. It is also
used to collect information as per company results.

Resources- The last step of project management plan relates with the number of
resources. Investigator collect all essential resources such as human resources, computer
system, internet and human resources to complete research within minimum period of
time. It results resources also helps for completing project activities in an effective
manner.
P3 Work-break down structure and Gantt chart
Gantt chart- The term Gantt chart is used by researcher for managing overall project
activities and it is also used for assigning certain time perspective that leads to complete all task
by dividing their time period (Fernando and et. al., 2018). Further, the main motive of Gantt
chart is to reflect and generate an effective schedule for all activities which also make easier for
researcher to monitor all outcomes of project.

WBS- The term work-break down structure is defined as the prospect by which
organisation manage and complete all of their task through dividing project among smaller
segment. It is also used to make achievable outcome by which organisation manage its
information to make better impacts within project (Foedisch, 2018). This refers organisation
divide its large project into smaller scale so it is easy for company to understand all project
activities.
