Home Automation System developed based on using Java ME will help the users to control
the home application through the use of smartphone. This project is ventured by Vodafone
group.

different devices at home like light, fan, television and other electronic appliances.
This will be a feasible and scalable solution that will allow the user to get the service at
minimal cost. The network for this system will be developed by the engineers of the
Vodafone group. Apart from hat the network will be secured through the use of username and
password.

Specific: The objective of the proposed system is specific. The system wants to implement
the Smart Home Automation system that will help the users to control the appliances using
smartphones.
Measurable: The performance of the system is measurable through the evaluation of the
performance which is indicated by the connectivity and the response time of the system.
Achievable: The functionality of the required system can be achievable through the use of
machine learning and the use of IoT driven technology.

Budget: the budget for the project is $ 1553060. The amount of the investment is high
in this case. If the analysis of the requirements and the compilation of the project are
not done in a proper way the project scope creep can raise during the development
phase. This will raise the budget of the project in a further level which is not
desirable.
Time: The total time needed for the development of the project is 610 days. The time
frame can be increased if the scope creep is present in the project.
Expected Outcome: It can be said that the project will be complied in a proper way. Apart
