INTRODUCTION
Oral mucositis is defined as the common side effect
which is occur due the chemotherapy or by
radiation for the number of patient. There are some
of range which show prevalence from 20 percent to
49 percent. In this, there are risk which is associated
with patient which include advance age and
treatment factor which is include carcinoma site and
dose of therapy which is required for the patient
(Khanjani pour-fard-pachekenari and et. al., 2019).
BACKGROUND
As per the previous study, it is evaluated that the
property of honey have some of the scope of
antimicrobial. In this, the major properties which is
help together to create the optimal environment for
cell and tissue growth. As per the studies, this is
analyse that there are vast range of effect which is
examined during the study of honey which provide
knowledge regards with the promotion of healing of
oral mucositis among the cancer patient (Geetha
GAPS
The inclusion and exclusion is usually based on
RCT which help to inclusion and article carry
exclusion which do not follow RCT. The target
population for this report is cancer patient. The
major identification of the gaps is determine in
the outcomes which is analyse after the
completion of study (Mathew and et. al., 2017).

of role which is based on honey and they
configure that the minimisation of pain as per
the use of honey in the radiation-induced
mucositis in head and neck cancer patient. The
study have a simple basis which is based on the
effect or the role of honey which is analyse by
using the RCT which is called randomized
controlled trail which have key pointer to
evaluate the effectiveness (Troeman and et. al.,
2019).

As per this, the first article which is based on the
effect of topical application of pure honey in
chemo-radiation-induced mucositis and widely they
used to provide the effective adaptability towards
the improvement of life in patient of oral squamous
cell carcinoma. In this, the article used to kept the
focus on effects which is positive while applying
the honey in chemo-radiation-induced mucositis
(Kusiak and et. al., 2020).

of head and neck which is associated with the
cancer patients.

which is associated with RCT that is based on the
active manuka honey and standard oral care for
radiation induced oral mucositis.
RECOMMENDATION
There are various study which used to show the
study while comparing treatment of silver
sulphadiazine, this is act as standard treatment
for the burn victim. This help to develop the
basis of novel therapeutics for patient with
cancer and cancer related tumours. They usually
show that they have chemotactic induction for
the neutrophils and reactive oxygen ROS which
