INTRODUCTION
The strategic analysis of the business environment is imperative within the organisation as it
provides the concept related to the business strategy that is important for the business to adopt to
gain sustainable position in the market (Martínez Hernández, SánchezMedina and Díaz
Pichardo, 2021). The business strategy is the concept that is essential for the organisation to
attain the specific objectives and goals. It is the kind of the management tool that facilitates in
fostering the performance and productivity of the organisation. In the hospitality industry the
business strategy helps in gaining the business intelligence to provide guest best experience.
Developing good strategy for the organisation helps the company to sustain all the competition
and to earn profits in the long run. The present report is on “The Savoy Hotel” a luxury hotel in
the UK hospitality industry. The hotel is the first luxury hotel of the Britain. The report will
outline the internal and external analysis along with the strategic growth plan with help of
recognised internal and external analytical tools.

“The vision of the Savoy Hotel is placing extraordinary people at the heart of memories made
and stories told.”
Definition of Strategy
A strategy is the Creative and distinctive plan of action that helps the organisation in
improving the financial performance, strengthening the competitive position in the market and to
gain the sustainable competitive advantage over its rival companies (Bolland, 2020).
Objectives and goals
The strategic objective of the Savoy Hotel is to become Zero food wastage organisation
and to achieve zero food wastage landfill in the year 2021.
The objective of the company is to increase the room sales by 10% in year 2021.
