INTRODUCTION
Hospitality business toolkit refers to providing those skills which are essential for
becoming a competent manager in a hospitality environment. It allows them to understand key
principles with reference to key performance indicators for both financial and non-financial
aspect. In the present report, Marriott International Inc is taken into consideration. It is a hotel
which is an American multinational company that franchises, operates and licenses lodging
which includes residential, hotel and time share properties as well(Cobanoglu and Ongan., 2017).
The present report will cover discussion about different stages of cycles of HR life and also
about performance management plan for supporting the particular job role. In addition to this, the
report will cover analysis about recommendations on processes and documents at each stage of
HR life cycle and also about particular legislation that hospitality organisation has to comply.
The report also consist of contract law and company's law which impact on business decision-
making.

Explain about financial transactions of hospitality business through identifying kinds of source
documents and the recording process
Source documents are basically the documents which are the physical basis upon which
business transactions are recorded. These documents act as evidence when auditors review the
company's financial statement into later terms. In context to accounting cycle diagram, it has
been observed that financial transactions have been done through following certain standards of
accounting cycle(de Waal Malefyt and Morais., 2019). When transaction has been taken place
then journal entries have been done and then these entries have been posted for purpose of trial
balance. After that work sheet has neen prepared and then entries have been adjusted for purpose
of financial statements. At the end, books have been closed into the last step. In this manner,
financial transactions have been recorded in the business of hospitality.

There are majorly five principles of monitoring and managing financial performance of
business and it is defined into the following manner:
 Consistency: It is necessary that transactions must be handled in a consistent manner. In

teaches about like-skills English and work place as well. In order to make effective
communication with their customers they have used guest service programme which ensures that
each customer can receive first class and personalised service at every level of contact with
Marriott from telephone call to actual check-in as well.
For communicating at different level of hotel, they have used blue tooth devices, I pads
and other mobile applications which makes the communication more effective and result
oriented as well. For communicating at different floors either they take support of inter-coms or
hotel phone in order to convey information into effective manner.

Give review about coordination and integration within a business organisation with support of
examples where ever necessary
Within the business organisation, coordination and integration has been initiate through
the executive level and carries down to the workers of front line. In context to Marriott
International Inc, the Manager and with support of leadership organisation work into effective
manner. As such a big kind of organisation has been run through working within a team.
Coordination and integration is required at team level because there are various kinds of
departments and their daily tasks has only been executed through coordination among team

For achieving objectives into successful manner within a particular department it is
important that team members have proper trust among team members so that information can be
conveyed into effective manner. Within a team, effective communication and integration is only
possible through open meetings, visual presentations, one to ones, emails, feedbacks and also
create a receptive environment through which free communication can be done into result-
oriented manner. For achieving objectives into successful manner it is necessary that proper
information and cordial nature should be there among team members so that they can do their
daily tasks into successful manner. Through this kind of communication method there is no
chance of conflict and mismanagement of information as well due to which they can successfully
achieve their objectives and strengthen their chain of value as well.

CONCLUSION

role at organisational level. It has been concluded that there are different stages of HR life cycle
and their related issues can be resolved through appropriate strategies and planning as well. It has
been determined that there is performance management plan which needs to be created into
appropriate manner so that results can be achieved into successful manner. It has been analysed
that there are certain recommendations which are required at every stage of HR life cycle fo
improving documents and processes as well. There are certain legislations which has been
implied in every hospitality sector for running it into legalised manner. The decision-making of
business has impacted through contract law and company's employment as well.
