Introduction
Legislations and regulations are the set of rules that are imposed by
the government of a country for all the organisations that are
operating business in it. It essential for all the organisations to follow
all of them so that they can execute operational activities effectively.
This presentation aims at various legislations that are implemented
by the government of UK for hospitality sector.

Specific Legislation
There are various types of legislation that are
required to be followed by Tasty and Munchy. All of
them are as follows:
Fire precaution act, 1971: Under this act various
safeguards, equipment's, procedures and fire
regulations are made compulsory in any organization
to be in proper place to ensure safety of its workers.

Health and safety at work act,
1974: Under this act certain
provisions are provided for securing
the health, safety and welfare of the
people at work and protect them from
various dangerous situations.

Waste regulation, 2011: The Waste (England and Wales) regulation,
2011 has set and implemented the requirements for collection, transfer,
recovery and dispose the waste, to confirm that every business has
formulated and applied a waste management hierarchy while transferring
the waste and should prepare a waste transfer note or consignment note
as declaration. Tasty and Munchy follows the amendments and tries to
protect the workplace from the hazardous wastes.

Employment rights act, 1996: This act was
passed to set rights of an individual
employee in relation to its employment. This
act covers some of the major aspects related
to employment like particulars of
employment, study or training, termination
and leaves.

There are various companies that are persecuted by the government of UK as
they were not able to follow the laws that are imposed by the government.
Some of them are as follows:
One of them is Cleverly Hills which was prosecuted in year 2009 under
company act. Reason behind prosecution was showing incorrect information to
the legal parties. This entity was established in UK and the owner was fined
with the amount of 1602 million pound.

Companies House was lambasted by the government for fraud
whistle blower Kevin Brewer. It was prosecuted in year 2006 by the
government under contract law.
Lombok company was also prosecuted by the legal parties of UK
under contract law. The reason behind prosecution was breaking the
lodging law.

Critical reflection on the potential
impact
From all the legislation I have learn that the managers should comply all
the legislation so that prosecution can be avoided. If Tasty and Munchy is
following all the rules and regulations of the government then it can help
to deal with all the problems in appropriate manner. Ethical principles also
helps to deal with the issues that are taking place due to not following the
legislation

Conclusion
This presentation concludes that there are various types of rules
and regulations that are imposed by legal parties of UK for
hospitality sector. For all the business entities which are
conduction executional activities in UK it is very important to
follow all of them so that business can be executed successfully.
