Hospitality industry is one that is specialized in providing variety of services and it consists of
departments that includes the travel and tourism, foods and beverages, leisure activities and
much more. Furthermore, from the above graph it can be said that in context of US dollars the
market of the hospitality sectors had been grown from 3486.77 to 4132.5 that means it is ben
progressing over the years (Portes, 2022). Also, it is expected toe grow at 18.5 percent
compound rate in the coming years. Thus, the hospitality industries are very wide and with
increase in government incentives and other subsides it would be able to globally reach to higher
level soon. Also, hospitality is growing at faster rate and continuous improvement in

technologies it is expected to grow faster in the coming years beating all other sector or
industries

In UK the increase in number of hotels had been rising over the years and it can be said from the
above graph that there are 15.1 billion hotels in UK and there is approx 144.1% hotels growth in
UK in year 2022 (Sumption, 2022). Also, from the above graph it is summarized that this growth
had been declined due to the pandemic and other situation. However, with continuous innovation
in the business this had been again risen in 2022 where various small hospitality business had
started been operating so that more revenues are generated in systematic manner. However, it has
been declined than compared to past years because of new Brixit reforms and economic crisis
that have slowed down the operations

hotel industry in London had been flourished very well over the years. Also, form the above
chart it can be clearly seen that the occupancy rate in London accounts for 80% over the past
decade. Furthermore, due to the pandemic it is slightly changed but again in 2022 it rose to 56%
when all the places have removed the travel restrictions

From the above chart it can be said that hospitality business in UK had been highest in 2019 to
about 83.4% but had subsequently fall down to 28.8% in 2020 due to high level of pandemic all
over the world (Simionescu, 2018). Furthermore, with the best preventive measures undertaken
and government freedom to travel to various places had increased the occupancy rate again by
52.4% in year 2021. Thus, it can be said that social media platforms had made people aware
about the places and also allowed them to visit new places in the best possible manner. However,
in-spite of growth hospitality sector in UK is struggling to fill gaps of employees and as per
records 41% of business has hard times in recruiting the well qualified people towards various
job posts.
