INTRODUCTIONHospitality management define as the study of hotel industry in which hotel,mrestaurants, convention centres and many other things included. It is known as a services industrywhich satisfied there guest through providing effective services. Hospitality management is notdealing only in hotels, it cover a large area of the industry (García-Lillo, Úbeda-García andMarco-Lajara, 2016). In this report Hilltop hotel is the base company which is situated in 1983.This hotel provide its services on international level. Main aim of hilltop hotel is provide highquality services for there customer. In this report HR manger analysis own skill for batterrecruitment of employees. Through using SWOT analysis of own skills because by this they canknow the strength and weakness. Beside it they also focus on the PDP for prepare a report whichis related to the employment and academic skills.TASK 1 In this report HR m,anger of hilltop hotel is working on his skills for the batteremployment in the hotel. Through developing own personality and skills managers can supportthe hotel by batter employment in hotel. Skilled and innovative employees require for hilltophotel. After this manger can take a effective interview for individual and collect all the importantinformation which help him in selection process. In this report manager is doing its own SWOTanalysis for focus on his skills. He can know strength and weakness and work on that in effectivemanner. So whole process of SWOT analysis are as following.SWOT analysis of manager:StrengthIn this report I am focusing on the positive quality of mine. Being HR manger, I feel thatmy communication skills is work like a strength for me because effective communication isnecessary in my profession. Whole things is depends on m,y communication skills because as aHR it is my basic responsibility to fulfil the requirement of my hotel through providing them bestskilled employees (Gibson and Parkman, 2018). Launching new polices related to thecompensation, benefit package is also effect the employees by my communication skill. I have
enough knowledge of HR sector it is also effect my personality. Apart from this confidentpersonality is also work as a blessing for me. It support my communication skills and givepositive impression on my employees and customers as well.WeaknessWeakness is effect the performance of an individual which impact on the personality ofthat. According to my job profile time management is the necessary in this profession and Ieventuate that my time management skill is too much weak which effect my profession. Beside itmy terotechnological knowledge is also weak because of I cant use updated technology in myworkforce. It also impact on my performance on my workplace. Less tome management skillalso build negative impression between employees and to authority. Being a HR it isresponsibility to provide effective training to workforce for achiever organisational goal but lesstime management is work as a barrio in target achievement process. So for improving mypersonality I focus on my skills which support me in target achievement and many other things. OpportunityI am a HR manager in a reputed hotel so there are many many opportunity for me in thissector. I am a hard-working employee and I have a good knowledge of it sector. So there aremany chances of promotion to HR manager from a top authority (Chan and Hsu, 2016).Effective communication skill also help to provide many opportunity for my future because inmy profession effective communication skill play an important role. I have good mathematicalskill which also work a positive point for me. Because of my these skills I can promote as HRgeneralist, HR recruiter, HR specialist, compensation manager, training and development mangerand many other future opportunity which is beneficial for my growth. These opportunity work asa blessing for my future. Threat Competitor is work as a threat for me because now days competition increase on highlevel and every individual focus on there skills and personality which is important. Mysubordinates and coulées who are also in same field. Increasing performances of them increasecompetition for me. Because of changing technology I face many problems and I have lesstechnological knowledge(Litvin, Goldsmith and Pan, 2018).
