Both the sector of hospitality and the sector of travel and tourism are highly linked to each
other such that the activities of one sector can affect the operations of the other sector.
Travel and tourism can be understood as the visiting the destination for the purpose of
business, leisure and recreational purpose for the specific period of time. The tourism sector
is divided into the different subsectors which are also known as hospitality sector.
Hospitality industry provides various services as such as accommodations. Overall it can be
stated that tourism sector is combined combo of smalls sectors from the hospitality
industries which as a supplier to the tourism industry (Palatkove, 2012). Any act or process
which is done for the purpose of helping the individuals or actions taken to providing
hospitably is considered as hospitality. Hotels such as Grange Tower, Bridge Hotel and
restaurants help the customers to provide the effective room divisions services such as

Tourism and hospitality industry both go by side by side in other words, the hospitality

various services for the tourism. The main purpose of the hospitality industry is to provide
an enjoyable and safe environment for the clients. This is also responsible for the serving
the liquor and also provide effective services to the patrons. Another one is it ensures
effective working conditions for the working staff in the company such as Chef. The
hospitality industry also having high pressure on the environment which provides to work
for long working hours, allows the employees to rewarded careers ( Lee, 2013). All these
services provide a great support to both the sectors in having a better attraction to different
sets of customers. Apart from that, it is essential that the sector of hospitality conduct its
activities and operations in an appropriate manner so that all it can lead to the better and
effective attainment of the goals and objectives. This, in turn, will ensure that the sector can
gain a good position the competitive market and there, in turn, can create a good brand
image.
The services provided by the hospitality are different from 1 star to five-star hospitality
industries. The 5-star hotels such as Grange Tower, Bridge Hotel provide a leisure
environment with high standards of accommodations. However, the services proved by the
1-star hotels do not provide such services to its clients with regards to the accommodations
and services (Researchgate, 2015).
Grange Tower, Bridge Hotel provide a high quality of services and it is unique from other
hospitality property because it is having modern equipment as compared to the 1 to 4-star
property, effective and convenient areas and air conditions in the entire hotel. Whereas the
kitchen in other or 4-star property is having smaller and eating places which are also not
fully equipped. The working conditions in 1 to 5-star hotels and restaurants may depend

upon type and quantity of food which is served by the hotel to their customers and the
different and local laws that govern the food services operation (Kumari, 2013).
Further, on the hospitality in travel and tourism businesses provide a variety of features and
services that may include it create interest towards the different from monotones kind of
industries, it creates and provides employment opportunities and carrier for the working
staff and to satisfy the customers. Additionally, the hospitality industries create and ensure
entertainment and fun time environment for the employees and customers that is helpful for
the individual to stress out for some time. Apart from this, both the sectors make a
significant contribution to the economic development of the country (Kumari, 2013). This,
in turn, ensures not only the suitable position of the company but also presents a good and
successful position of the country as a whole. This tends to be a good indicator for the

Corporation Plc, etc. that not only involves the single facility but also includes all other or
allied services such as accommodation, travel packages, internet facility, cab facility etc.
that can support the management in satisfying the customers in better and enhanced manner.
Apart from that, it provides the customer with ease with regards to decision making while
making a choice with regards to their travelling. This can further assist them to make their
bookings at one single solution and this, in turn, will save their time and efforts in a better
and attractive manner (Palatkove, 2012).
