• It is defined as “Housekeeping is
the department that is
responsible for the cleanliness

Process of Housekeeping
• Cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the
homeowners or manager in charge.
• The tasks include the vacuuming, sweeping, empting trash
cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows and mopping floors.
• Changing lines, washing dishes and doing light ironing and
laundry.
• Interacting with customers is also the part of their process.

Time management in Housekeeping
• It is important for keeping full stock of cleaning supplies.
• Grouping similar tasks for faster results.
• Being punctual on every days tasks.
• Scheduling and delegating tasks.

Communication in Housekeeping
• It requires excellent communication for being able to enhance the
guests experiences that is show that they are listening to them.
• Valuing their feedback and conveying clear messages.
• Using simple devices for effective communication.

Interpersonal skills in Housekeeping
• Housekeepers often worked directly with the clients for
being able to work with common interpersonal skills that are
needed or the housekeepers including dependability,
teamwork and responsibility.
