Comparison based on service change management system that are accessible
utilizing one established change management concept-
In the service industry, there are different types of changes taking place that help
companies to work in more effective manner. Like both Marriot and Hilton wants to
change the working hours of employees i.e. expand the hours in order to improve
profitability and productivity. For this they uses Kurt Lewin change management model.
Unfreeze: Under this, organization accepts that change is essential. In this, leaders of
both hotels prepare their employees to accept the change and let them understood about
the need of changing working hours. In this, they conduct open session that helps to let
employees accept the new change.
Change: Next stage, in which employee look for new things and support the decision
made by management. Under this, employees understand the change and work as per
new direction provided by Hilton and Marriot’s leaders. Also, leaders aware their
employees to change the working hours which will benefitted them in term of financial.
Also, leader must encourage the individual for endorsing the change is essential for a
firm as well as employees.
Refreeze: In the last stage, new working style will be refreeze. Employees of Hilton and
Marriott accept the new working hours, that help them to satisfy the job. Thus, a new
sense of stability, employees feel confident and comfortable with new ways of working.
This will also cause positive environment and enhance job satisfaction level.
Impact of changes on leadership and management styles in view of talent
management-
There are many different changes and leadership skill which has forced the company in
managing the talent management in the organization. These has provided variety of the
different way through which talent can be managed in the organization.
The first thing that change management in the organization has helped the company in
providing the different teaching in the organization on the basis of the on job experience
in the organization. As employee will be able to find out the solution of the issue by their
own.
This has also given the good sort of the message to the leader in the organization that
they used to take the variety of the responsibility in the organization to develop the talent
in the organization in a better way.

friendly leadership and management style and
democratic and transformational leadership style.
Another change which will be brought in the
leadership and management style is that leader and
management in the organization need to be more
communicative in the organization, as employee at
that the time of the change always desired a good
sort of the clarity from the leads end. Autocratic
leadership can be such type of the leadership style

model is not good as this change
management model focuses on the
unlearning the old and traditional
