Introduction/ Background
COVID-19 or corona virus is one of the most threatening global pandemic that is
continuously spreading in the various parts of wold and lead out too many consequences to
physical and mental health of an individual (Klaiber and et. al., 2021). The implication of
COVID-19 comprises of sudden lockdown and strict rules and government provisions which has
limit the interaction and communication among adults and other people which lead to a situation
of stress and anxiety. The current project is based on the area of analysing that how Covid-19 has
affected stress and anxiety in adults. Thus, the current project is emphasised towards analysing
the issues and challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic which is creating a sense and
feeling of stress and anxiety in adults.
The research methodology which has been applied for accomplishment of current
investigation comprises of use of qualitative form of method which ensures and leads out a
detailed description of information to effectively analysis an issues and problem (Hyun and et.
al., 2021). Apart from this, utilisations of secondary sources of information has been made under
current project which consists of critical review of relevant literature and debates comprises of 5
to 8 online articles and journals based on current issues. Use of qualitative method is made to
ensures theoretical and in-depth information and only secondary data is sued as it support easy
review and implication of facts.
Critical review of debates and literature
According to the information provided by Sarah L., Hagerty and Leanne M.Williams,
2021, Covid-19 pandemic has brought out the significant threat to humanity and straining out the
health care and economic system in most threating manner which has risk out the most basic
human motivation and connection. Thus, a universal impact of Covid-19 has been seen on the
health health and emotional balance of human beings. It has been reviewed through this literature
that human connection is the core motivation for all individual which provides a way to share
their feeling but the current situation of sudden lockdown and social distancing has led to loss of
this connection. Therefore, a higher level of mental issues and depression are seen in individuals
across the world as they are not allowed to go out for work, entertainment or traveling. Thus,
Covid-19 has created an enhanced level of anxiety and stress in individuals (Muñoz-Navarro and
et. al., 2021). Apart from this, the high level of unfamiliarity in situation and a high level of
