In thisparticular research study, proper emphasis has been given on understanding the major challengesof leadership development faced by Chinese manufacturing industry. The current research studyexplain about important leadership development capabilities or skills by use of theories of X andY. The present research study introduces about strategic approaches that need to be consideredrelevant for development activities. Research Questions 1.What are the major challenges of leadership development face by Chinese manufacturingindustry?2.What are the most important leadership development capabilities or skills?3.What are the strategies or approaches considered the most relevant for the development? Literature Review As rightly put forward by Schein (2017), China has emerged in recent years as one of themain economies in and across the world. In addition, Leadership is treated more important inindustry as it was never before. China is entering into new and tougher economy where the neweconomic policies help in promoting a shift to a slower but steadier financial expansion as drivenby internal expenditure, entrepreneurial vigor and innovation.
