1.1 Types of organization
In the UK, there are many organization such as public and private sector. In private sectors organization
including partnership, solo traders etc. In the public sectors including health care, education etc.
Private Sector:
It includes various types of structure like solo traders, partnership and joint ventures.
In the partnership companies, two or more peoples working in the companies, sharing the profits equally as
well as taking the risk. Every partner has different responsibilities in the business but has the same goal
which is becoming the market leader.
In the private sector including large multinational, trade association and trade union. For example John
Lewis partnership, Acromas Holdings, etc. in the UK.
In the solo traders, an individual's is running the business, taking the risk, bearing the losses and taking all
the responsibilities and duties.

1.2 Different structures with in the businesses
The structures of the businesses including benefits and disadvantages for proving that work of the
business. For examples partnership, corporations, solo proprietors and holding companies.
Solo Proprietors:
It is the business structure, an individual's is running the business, taking all the risk
individually, gaining all the profits, taking all responsibilities and duties of the business.
It is called solo proprietors because it is handled by a single person and every decision would
be taken by them.
