1 ACCOUNTING INFROMATION SYSTEM Introduction Development of database is very useful for any type of organization and Torrens We Help Inc. is no exception in this aspect. The organization is a non-profit organization and the organizationprovides online education service to the students around the world. The Organization is looking to implement an HR Database which would be helpful in tracking the activities of the staffs within the organization and monitoring them. The report has been developed for providing the discussion on the development of the HR Database for the organization. The ER diagram has been used for the description of the table and the structures of the database. The forms and reports useful for the organization is also described in the report. Justification of the use of database The Use of database for the HR Database system implemented in the Torrens We Help Inc. is that it would help the organization with the management of data that is fetched from the different business procedures od the organization. The database management system is used for the interaction with the software that is to be implemented in the system. The reports and the forms would make the task of handling the management process for the organization. The database would help the HR management to define the data that are obtained from the business procedures of the organization. The task of fetching data and storing data would be done easily with the help of the database management system as the technology provides the functions of creation, querying, update, and administration of the systems of the organization.

The IT control procedures provides an assurance that would be helpful for the Torrens We Help Inc. organization in monitoring their process and also mitigating the security issues that might be faced by the organization during the implementation of the business procedures of the organization. This makes sure that the organization is able to operate on the developed system as per their intention and this gives them the chance to control the process flow of the systems developed. This also affects the business of the organization to a great extent, although the organization that has been considered here is a non-profit organization. Yet the procedures of the organization are to controlled as this a disciplinary organization. It is to be made sure that the data that is being used by the organization for their organizational procedures are reliable enough and the processes that are followed by the organization are in compliance with the applicable laws and standards of the organizations. In addition to this, there are two categories of the IT control needs and they are termed as the IT general controls and application controls. The organization is required to demonstrate the organizational procedures and the policies that are in place for the technologies that are used by the management of the organization. Hence all these processes are handled by the IT general control. The issues such as risk management, change management and disaster recovery process are included in this concept which is necessary for the organization to avoid the possible risks that would be faced by the organization.
