INTRODUCTION
Human resource is the profession which is division of the organization who are responsible for
finding, screening, recruiting, selecting and providing training to the existing as well as the new
employees of the company (Sadikova, 2020) HR plays the vital role the organization in dealing
with the rapid changing business environment and understanding the demand for the skilled and
talented employees in the company. This report will discuss the general trends which will impact
the HR as well as the knowledge, skills and qualifications required for me to have jobs in this
profession. Further, it will discuss the evaluation of the job related to the HR profession.

General trends which will impact the HR profession-
These are the trends which has the major impact on the HR because as the changes are occurring
in the business environment it has become very important for an individual to understand them
and evaluate them to become successful on the job role. The trends which can impact the HR
profession and also the skills and the knowledge of an individual are such as-
Increasing technology- The use of the technology is increasing much in the business
environment so the HR profession has also going towards adapting technology because this helps
them in recruiting the better candidates and for maintaining time. This is the major change which
is happening in the business environment it is very must for every organization to adopt
advanced technology (Yawalkar, 2019). The HR department is using technology for hiring the
candidates for the organization. This impacts the skills and knowledge required by an individual.
For using the advanced technology, the skills and knowledge requires is also very high.
Globalization- Globalization has the significant impact on the human resource. This has the
impact on the HR profession in the organizations because it exerts the pressure on the HR to
adapt the changes in the organization. The HR has to adopt the best set of HRM practices which
helps the company to succeed in the market. The most common factors which are affecting the
HR are cross cultural adoption, workforce vales, different management styles as well as the
management turnover.
Focusing on cybersecurity- The increasing of the use of data, proper security of the data is very
important for the business. Because of this, new policies will be formed which will also affect

the HR as for them KPIs will be changed as they play strategic role in the change management
process. The skills required by the HR will be more advanced as they have must have the
knowledge of managing the data (Raharjo and et.al., 2018).
More of developing environment- The companies wants the growth of the business for which
they are going towards providing effective training to them so that they increase the efficiency.
The HR department is majorly responsible for the organizing trainings and development
programs in the organization. For this, the HR must have good academic skills so that they can
help in providing training of the employees and also have good working experience.
Skills, knowledge and experience required in HR profession-
The skills which will required in the HR profession are-
Communication skills- These are the skills which enables one person to talk and share ides and
information with the others (Ayentimi, Burgess and Brown, 2018). These skills are required in
the HR profession because it is very important for the individual to have good communication
skills as HR department is solely responsible for recruitment and selection process in which they
have to everyday meet new people for hiring the candidate for the company.
Critical thinking- This the process of the actively and skilfully applying, evaluating, and
gathering the information generated by the experience, reasoning, communication as well as the
provides guide for action. This skill helps in for being independent and competent and it helps in
connecting the ideas, evaluating the arguments and solve the problems. HR profession requires
this skill as it helps them to effectively solve the problems in the organization (Shin and et.al.,
2019).
Time management- This skill is very important for the HR profession because it helps in
effectively managing the time for very work which leads to work completion on time (Kim, Su
and Wright, 2018). HR profession requires this skill as they have to manage many works in the
organization so having this skill will provide advantage.
Team working ability- This ability helps in cooperating with the other employees in the
organization and helps in achieving the team goals as well as of the organizational goals. This
ability is very important for HR profession as it will help in better working with the other
employees which will lead to achieving the goals of the team.
Leadership skills- These are the skills which are the own skills and it depends on person to

profession requires this skill as this will help in better maintaining the culture and performance

Emotional intelligence- This is the ability to understand, manage and use of the own emotions
in the positive manner for relaxing from the stress, effectively communicate and avoiding the
conflicts (Blackmore, Kasfiki and Purva, 2018). HR profession requires this skill as this helps in
remaining strong at the workplace and separating the personal and professional life so that work
can be done effectively.
The knowledge required for HR profession are-
HR specialists- These are the experts in the HR profession who are responsible for the
administrative the payroll systems which includes the new accounts for the new hirers and
deactivating the accounts of the employees who have left (Paul and Elder, 2019).
Data analytics- Nowadays, the increasing use of the technology in the HR profession has
changed and advanced the knowledge required for the candidate for the job role. They must have
the ability for evaluating and understanding the key HR metrics and the knowledge of excel for
the advantage. The HR can use the data for making better decisions in the organization.
Evaluation-
As I have selected HR profession because it is very inter string for me and this made me chose
this profession. HR professionals are responsible for the outcomes of the organization, and they
are involved in managing the most valuable part of the company that is the people. I feel very
interesting in doing job in this as it is profession which is ever-changing for making the things
and surroundings better in the company. This profession is unique because it includes social
skills like honest, integrity and professionalism at the workplace (Cirillo, 2018). There is
vacancy for the designation of the post HR assistant and I want to apply for this job because it is
the job of my profession. HR assistants are responsible for the payroll of the employees of the
organization and manages the new accounts of the new hirers and to separate the account of the
employees who have left the companies. I chose this vacancy because I want yo learn how the
payroll systems are managed in the company, hoe the deductions are made of the employees,
how the benefits are paid to them and many more.
From my point of view this is the professional post in the HR manager and this will help
me to excel to the upper position in the organization. This job of HR profession has very high

demand and will help me to start my career path and I have the qualities which will help me in
working effectively for my responsibilities. This is the considered as the rewarding careers field
which has high growth for me. The future and modern growth will focus on the flexibility and
growth of an individual for this HR assistants are much in demand in the present as well as in the
future (Berg and et.al., 2018). The are HR plays as the role of coaches foe the organization as
this helps the company to make the policies' framework for the better and discipline working in
the company.
CONCLUSION
This report has discussed the general trends of the HR profession which will impact the skills,
knowledge and experience required by the individual for entering into this field. The trends such
as globalization, technology and many more influence an individual of the company. Along with
this, It has discussed the skills like communication skills, critical thinking skills, team working
ability as well as the two main areas expertise of the HR like HR specialists which are required
for an individual for staring the career job in the HR profession. Further, it has also considered
the job vacancy for which I have applied as I have much interest in the HR profession and its
duties and roles as well as it also includes the appendixes which will involve all the information
regarding the job applied for the HR assistants like contact number of the company, name of the
company, questions asked and many more discussed in it.
