INTRODUCTION
The operations of organisations is majorly affecting environment which is creating
hazardous impacts on health of human resources. In order to reduce this there is need of
sustainability in working procedures, for which there are many legal laws made by governing
bodies (Lennox, Maher and Reed 2018). The report performed shows how environment is
affected and what measures are taken to reduce the harm by bothy government and organisation.

1. In general, what environmental / sustainable issues do our current laws focus on?
The environmental issues that current laws focus on in overall manner are conservation of
environment and reducing waste disposal.
2. Visit the EPA website and conduct the following research:
a) What is the name of the environmental legislation that the EPA implements and
regulates.

b) Provide an example of when the EPA will accept an enforceable undertaking.
EPA will accept an enforceable undertaking only when there has been a misconduct in following
of any guidelines and legislations given by the act.

a) In your own words, why is it important to go green in your workplace?
The organisations are bound by several laws and regulations which are for health and safety of
its employees. In order to accomplish these organisations are required to go green.
b) Your business can profit from environmental management through: Strike through the

 recognition for your efforts through environmental awards
 not needing to consider safety in environmental management practices
