INTRODUCTION The skills are the abilities and the qualities which is required for successful personal and professionaldevelopment.Theseareneededtobedevelopedinordertoenhancethe performance of the individual. This report shall cover the five different types of skills and their need to develop. SUMMARY CRITICAL THINKING Description of skill It is a ability to independently and reflectively think in order to make the thoughtful decisions. It helps in avoiding the future problems which may rise from the actions (Chen and Rybak, 2017). Need to develop This skill is important for the professional career as it will help in taking the right decisions from the logical mind. In order to take right decision for the betterment of the company, I will use this skill by logically thinking of the good and bad consequences of the decision and then make the right decision. How to cultivate it I can acquire this skill by understanding my mental process and become more self aware so that I can efficiently apply this skill. By reading books of expert author, I can learn this skill. RESILIENCE Description of skill It is the capacity to recover from the difficult situations. It helps in facing the new challenges so that a valuable skill is learned. Need to develop This skill will help in dealing with the pressure so that it will help me in overcoming the challenges. This skill will help in bounce back from the difficult situation so that solutions can be drwan easily of the problems which brought pressure while dealing with it.
How to cultivate it This skill can be developed by practising on the hypothetical situations so that the mental awareness is created. Reading books and journal will also help me in dealing with the pressure. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE Description of skill It is the ability to use, understand and manage the emotions in the positive way so that stress is released and communication is made effective(Green, 2018). Need to develop This skill will help in overcoming the challenges which may be faced by me in my professional career. It will also help in defusing the conflicts so that stress can be released from the pressure of the challenges. How to cultivate it This skill can be developed by undergoing the training sessions so that it can be developed effectively. TEAM WORK Description of skill It is the ability and the quality of an individual to work with others well in effective communicationandcollaborations.Itinvolveseffectivecommunication,activelistening, responsibility and honesty. Need to develop This will help in effectively managing the teams in the organisation so that objectives can be attained easily with mutual support and cooperation. This will bring motivation and support among all team mates which will result in good performance. How to cultivate it This skill can be developed by me by reading books and journals of experts. Further the practical experience will help in applying this skill efficiently.

LEADERSHIP Description of skill This skill are that type which help in organising the people so that the shared goal can be achieved. Need to develop this skill will help in upgrading the performance. By the managing the team and leading them to achieve the shared goals will help in achieving the desired goals productively and efficiently. How to cultivate it This skill can be acquired by applying the theories of leadership in order to gain the practical experience. Further training programs will help in gaining the knowledge of the subject so that these skills can be well inculcated. CONCLUSION It is concluded from the above report that skills are very necessary in order to upgrade and enhance the performance. The critical thinking, leadership, team work, resilience and the emotional intelligence skills are essential for the professional growth in order to effectively manage the task or project assigned.
