HRM POLICIES1
The human resource management team within the organization is one of the most
important organizational system in the modern organizational set ups. It is often seen that the
success or failure of an organization, or the market base of an organization, the customer
loyalty of an organizations and the like, all are much dependent and influenced by the human
resource management and the human resource policies available within an organizational
body. Therefore, in the following essay I would like to reflect upon the human resource
policies that are involved in the organization, where I am currently working in. I work in a
multi- national company of South Africa. One of the most important features or
characteristics of South African Organizational bodies are, the inclusion of the diversified
employee and managing the diversified situation within the organization. However, it is true
that, the management of diversity have now become common for all the organizations. Also,
another important feature of my organization is that it tries to involve an effective
communication structure within the organizational structure and the organizational conducts.
The human resource department of our organization believes that within the organizational
body, it is important to employ a communication system in order to maintain a positive work
environment within the organizational body. Therefore, having been working in the
organization for four and a half years now, and being involved as an employee for 7 years
now, I have realised that the three of the things are most important to employ within an
organizational body in order to run a successful business or organizational processes. First is,
every organization must employ diversity management plan within the organizational body,
considering the age of globalization. According to me, in order to include a successful
diversity management plan within the organizational process, every organization must, focus
on its recruitment plan. It is essential that the organizations include and provide opportunities
to all the potential and competent employees (Kuvaas, Dysvik and Buch. 2014). In the
recruitment procedure, there must be a certain policy that will ensure the recruitment of the

employees from different communities or culture. Secondly, there should be detailed
governance plan. It is essential for all the organizations to have include a detailed governance
plan which will guide the human resource managers and will uphold a transparency within
the organizational body.
The third, according to me is employing communication strategy. Effective
communication strategy within the organizational set up help the management to avoid the
conflicting situations within the organizational set up and also to easily resolve a conflicting
situation (Woodrow and Guest. 2014). An effective communication plan within the
organization also helps the management of the organizations to maintain a transparency
within the organizational structure, which further helps and ensures the governance and
success of the organization.
In this notion I will also like to mention the views and perception of my colleagues, in
the previous organization where I used to work. The previous organization where I was
involved into had a very poor communication structure and a poor human resource
management team. There were many internal issues that was involved within the
organizational set up, and due to the lack of a detailed and written governance plan and
program, the employees used to act on their own, which affected the organizational conducts.
