2HUMAN DEVELOPMENT1. Comparing and contrasting theories of developmentBehavioral theory refers to the changes that are brought about in a person owing tothe interaction with the environment and the experience gained from it. The social-cognitivetheory stated that learning is caused in a social context. This is done due to the dynamic andreciprocal interaction of the people and environment. On the other hand, cognitive theorysheds light on the fact that maturity is developed with the biological change that occurs in aperson (Crain, 2015).2. Explaining the reason for insecure babies to have relationship problemsAccording to Pegoraro, Setz and Dalgalarrondo (2014), security in babies is requiredin order to provide a safe and secure adulthood. The ethological theory is concerned with theadaptive and behaviour of the people. In the case of babies, lack of insecurity may grow intheir mind and the fear of commitment or attachment to a person arises due to this. Thetrauma suffered during the childhood stage can hinder the development of the mind of anindividual. Thus, it is needed that the parents provide a secure childhood to the babies.3. Comparing and contrasting Piagets cognitive developmentThe first three stages include:Sensorimotor: This is the age in which babies the basic activities that need to beperformed. The actions of the babies are impulsive and not guided by any externalforce (Moore, 2014)Preoperational: It is considered as the development stage in which children developthe ability to think and talk in a clear manner.
