Executive summary
The discussion reflects on the key concept of Human Resource Management. It takes into
account ‘Attitude as well as satisfaction towards the Job’ as a base. Effective HRM gave rise
to positive attitude and job satisfaction. Their presence in employee offers multiple benefits
to the manger and organization. These mainly arise from effective organization culture, better
pay structure, effective supervision, recognition, advancement and growth. Their presence
results in high employee motivation in the workplace. It benefits the company in gaining
quality performance, low employee turnover, better word of mouth, easy future recruitment,
higher reputation and strong position in the market. The absence will develop contrary result.
The application of ‘Two factors theory’ states that employee motivation can develop through
motivators and hygiene factors. The application of ‘Maslow hierarchy’s model’ states that
employee motivation can be raised through fulfillment of needs of five stages. The critical
assessment of both the models states that each has benefits and limitations. From the
organizational behavior, it is evaluated that workers which are having positive attitude will
fulfilling its objectives in efficient manner. Therefore, the discussion clearly states that
‘Attitude and Job satisfaction’ have a high impact on employee motivation and organization
culture.

Introduction
The report focuses on the aspect of ‘Human Resource management’. Human Resource is no
less than a tangible asset for an organization. HRM is a strategic approach for the effective
management of human resource of an organization. Managing the human resource is highly
beneficial for managers as well as for the organization. Effective management of human
resource benefits the manger in raising satisfied employees. It helps in early conflict
resolution. It assists in gaining quality performance the employees. The concept of HRM
helps the organization by delivering higher and quality output. It assists in improving the
organization culture. It also helps in marinating positive relations with the employees. HRM
gave rise to satisfied employees. It ultimately assists the organization in gaining better word
of mouth and building reputation in the business environment (Werner & DeSimone,
2011).
In the workplace, an organization has to deal with multiple aspects. These include attitude,
job satisfaction, workplace motivation and organizational behavior. Focusing on their brief
meaning, attitude is the opinion attained by an employee. Job satisfaction is the contentment
employee gain from their work. Workplace motivation is energy and level of enthusiasm
attained by an employee towards work. Organization behavior is the study of human resource
in the workplace (Drucker, 2012).
The topic chosen for the assignment is ‘Attitude and Job satisfaction’. The key aim of the
report is to apply the relevant model and theories to critically appraise and evaluate the role
of ‘Attitudes and actions as well as satisfaction level of the workers’.
Focusing on assignment structure, the initial part includes the meaning of attitude and job
satisfaction. It involves the application of ‘Maslow Hierarchy model’ and ‘Herzberg two
factors theory’ to understand the employee motivation. The following section emphasizes the
impact of attitude and job satisfaction on organizational behavior. Additionally, it involves
the practical examples of the organization to provide a clear insight.
