Human Resource Development 2Part-ABehaviour modelling Behaviour modeling is one of the traditional training methods which are used by the companies. This training method is a component of social learning theory; the standard modeled behavior is provided to the employees which guide the employees how to perform the activity. This shows that the learning takes place by observing a model (Rodríguez, Cuéllar, Lilius, and Calvo-Flores, 2014). This training model is also known as a hands-on method. FeaturesThis method shows a way to candidates to correctly perform the task. The trainers can give the feedback to the candidate if in case they are going on a wrong track. This method engages trainees to perform self-practice of the work after understanding thebehavior. Advantages and disadvantagesAdvantages The cost of the behavior modeling training method is low as compared to the other training methods. This model focuses on the real behavior other than theories. The positive business modeling will bring the positive changes in the organization whichincludes the success of the organization (Papageorgiou, and Salmeron, 2014).

Human Resource Development 3Disadvantages This theory relies on the real behavior but sometimes an organization there is need of the adequate theory. Lack of adequate theory is the biggest weak point of this training method (Grimm, and Railsback, 2013). The lack of incorrect behavior examples may often lead to imperfect understanding. Use of Behaviour modeling in organizationsThe method of behavior modeling is used by many financial institutions and retailers. This training method is used by the organization for increasing learning skills which is in effect for computer skills and interpersonal skills. For instance, this model is used by the retailer to make the estimation about the purchase done by the consumer. A retailer examines the types of products purchased by the buyer through store or online will help the retailer to understand the likelihood of purchasing the product. A retailer can estimate for the future purchase seeing the buying pattern of the customer. Financial institutions like bank and credit card companies make use of this training method which helps institutions in estimating how the customers are likely to use services. For instance, a credit card company will evaluate the types of businesses on which the card is used, a frequency of using a card, amount of purchases and the location of stores will help in predicting the future behavior (Sanghi, 2016). This helps the financial institutions in analyzing whether the cardholder will repay the amount without any problems or not. These examples throw light on how an organisation like financial institutions and retailer can make use of this training method.
