The governmental bodies in UK needs to pay more significance on
the training and development programmes. The government carries
the objective of providing opportunities to the people who do not
have the access yet.
The motive is to eradicate the difficulties coming across the
employability for all. The life long learning is motived significantly
in order to provide opportunities to large number of organisations
and people.
Elimination of social discriminations is the prime aim of life long
learning. Social discrimination removal will create equal

4.2 Impact of development of the ‘Competency Movement’ on
both the public and private sectors of the UK economy after the
recession
Public and the private sectors in UK have been directly and
indirectly affected by the development of the 'Competency
Movement'. The demand of higher level of competencies have
been enhanced.
Use of information, evolving technologies and increment in
demands of skills and knowledge have led to increase in
complex and dynamic fiscal conditions.

development of HR policies. Through the help of this discrimination
can be avoided. Further, train gaining help in HR development as it
lead to increase employment level and government invest in providing
training and development. These all help in developing human
resources because it leads to increase skill and knowledge of employees
and if employees work hard then they can easily lead to develop
different skills improve their performance.
