HRM helps the people to gain acompetitive advantage. It allows the manager to design the strategies that assists the enterprise inmaximizing the performance of the employees. Human resource Management also plays theimportant role in recruiting, selecting, inducting employees, imparting training and developmentand motivating the workforce of the company. This study will be based on the human resourcemanagement of ASDA Stores. This is a British super market retailer organization andheadquarters are present in West Yorkshire UK. This report mainly focus towards HR functionsand responsibilities of HR function within organization. Furthermore, this document will also help in discovering training and development of theindividual within organization. This report will also help in identifying importance of theemployee motivation which influences the decision Making of HRM. It will also provide Joboffer letter along with the curriculum vitae of candidatesTASK 11. An overview of the organisationHuman resource management is one of the important unit of the organisation which helpsin coordinating all the business functions of the ASDA (Berman and et.al., 2018). All the humanresource efforts are integrated with other sources of the firm which results in producing effectivethroughput. ASDA stores Ltd trading as Asda is a British supermarket retailer company whichwas founded by Peter and Fred Asquith in 1949. The enterprise deals with large variety ofgrocery items and also provides the financial services to its customers. The firm employs 165000number of employees and generate the operating income of almost£791.7 million in 2016. Asdais a growing company operating in highly competitive markets. Due to the expansion ofbusiness and colleague turnover, this organisation has started recruitment of the employees.Human resource Management of ASDA aimed at filling 70% of its leadership team vacancies.Meanwhile, Asda's comprehensive HR strategies engage colleagues and supports theorganisational culture. Human resource management of Asda company provides wideopportunities for the career development of the employees. This resulted in high loyalty of theemployees which leads to the retention of the workforce.1

HR professionals conduct a wide variety of tasks within the structure of the organisation.Human Resource Manager mainly responsible for various kinds of activities within theenterprise. Such actions are staffing, employees compensation and benefits creation of themanagement strategies. Such activities and actions are described below:StaffingIt includes hiring and employment of the employees within the firm. Such activities areas follows:Identifying the vacant position of the company and fulfilling the need with the talentedcandidates.Use of the effective technology to invite the applications of the people in order to aquirethe vacant position of company.Termination of the contracts when necessary.Maintaining the ethical hiring practices that aligns with the regulatory environment of thefirm.Writing about the negotiable salary and benefits.Training and development Training of employees regarding the operational practices of the company and alsodevelopment of the staff members in the form of promotion and professional development ofemployees.
