Introduction
Training and development of employees is necessary nowadays in
order to survive in this competitive environment. Training is an essential
area in the human resource management that needs to be focused by the
organizations. Training refers to improvement of the skills of employees that
are required in the job or addition of knowledge so that employees is better
equipped to perform their present job and able to fulfill the goals and
requirement as per the expectations (Kozlowski & Salas, 2009).
In current scenario change is essential requirement and the only way
to deal with it is to learn and grow. Hence, training plans are useful to
identify the need of training by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of
employees according to the changing phase or environment.
Training is helpful to retain the employees and get best out of it. A
train employee proves to be an asset for development of the company as
well as for their individual growth (Bell, Tannenbaum, Ford, Noe, & Kraiger,
2017). Employees are train to learn new skills and to gain knowledge on
current trends in that learning is a continuous process and one should not
hesitate to learn on each and every stage of professional as well as personal
life (Truitt, 2011). To make learning and development easy in Tesla a training
plan is formed keeping in mind all the requirements and with proper
analysis.
This report includes a detailed training program for Tesla employees
based on the training need assessment of the company. The report provides
deep insight of training method required, participants of program, trainers,
cost of conducting the training, time period and challenges faced during the
training plan implementation. The entire project focuses on the training and
development of Tesla employees and how input of training will be beneficial
to Tesla from the money invested in terms like return on investment.
