1HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Question 1: What would be the ideal organizational design for a company like Wild Wear? Wild Wear is one of the companies that produces rain gears, clothing, sleeping bags as well as the gears of hikers. While analyzing the organizational growth of the nominated organization it is observedthat there is a huge significance of the miscommunication as well as less effective collaboration between the employ and the management of the organization due to which the company was stagnant. Even though everyone seemed to work very hard as well as the balance sheet of the company look very healthy but there was no growth in the company revenue. Followed by a detail analysis on this aspect it can be stated that in order to improve the current organizational structure the adoption of effective communication strategies like open ended discussion, group discussion, meeting as well as feedback collection will help the manager andthe employeesto effectively communicate with each other. Considering the recommended strategies it is observed that the Wile Wear requires an idea organizational structure which will influence the workplace culture. While analyzing this concern it is observed that improving the organizational environment requires several practices to take place which includes the investigation on the organizations systems, communication process as well as the investigation on the staff’s skill (Al-Samman & Al-Nashmi 2016). According to the study it is observed that these activities will help to gain a detail knowledge about the skills of their staffs as well as the organizational workflow. Followed by this analysis the work process of the nominated organization could structure their working process in such way that the employees of Wild Wear will be able to enhance their performance.
2HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT After completion of the above mentioned aspects it is recommended to Wild Wear to adopt the departmentalization infrastructure which will help to improve the decision making approach of the organization and to improve the productivity as well, since in this type of organization each activity is performed by any specific department (Tron, Valenza & Caputo 2018). However, in case of decision making each department is allowed to express their opinion. Question 2: What does Wild Wear’s experience say about the need for periodic corporate restructuring? Followed by a thorough analysis on the case scenario of Wild Wear it is identified that the organization has faced several issues related to the downfall of business growth as well as the miscommunication of employees with the higher authorities of Wild Wear.Considering the above identification it is also determined that there is a huge necessity to restructure the organization with the purpose to mitigate the identified limitations as well as to enhance the organizational services of the organization (DePamphilis 2019). According tothe study itisobserved thata healthy workplace environmentand collaborative working process is one of the major elements of a successful organization. However, none of these elements are visible in the nominated organization. Thus, it is very prominent that the organization needs a periodic restricting as this will help to align the roles and the goal of the employee. Along with this it will also help to align the leaders with the staffs of the organization (Mokaya 2016). Hence, it can be stated that in this scenario the organizational restructuring is very essential.
