There are different HRM practiceswhich are conducted by the HR department such as hiringcandidates, providing development sessions etc. for improvingthe productivity of the organisation. There are several benefitsof these HR practices for both the firm and its employees whichare as follows:Hiring candidates: This practice is used by the HRdepartment of the Tesco for recruiting young and talentedindividuals in the organisation. The HR department of Tesco iseffectively performing this practice for hiring suitablecandidates at the workplace so that skilled workers can berecruited for performing their work in an appropriate manner.Through the recruitment of these skilled candidates, theperformance and competitiveness of Tesco will increase whichwill also assist the firm in achieving sustainability at theworkplace.

This enhanced efficiency andproductivity will also assist the Tesco in enhancing theprofitability and sales as employees are equipped with essentialcapabilities. For the development of employees, Tesco isproviding them with on the job training so that they can becomefamiliar with the organisation and its working. This alsoenhances the knowledge among the employees through whichthey can assist the other co-workers in providing solutions fortheir issues.
