The principles of management used in human resource are used by the human

and doubtful situations. For example, it can be said that comprehensiveness or completeness
assists in managing the employees of the organizations globally. On the other hand, the
communication principle helps in understanding as well as the accepting the aims and
objectives of the companies. The principles related to commitment aims on the employee
motivation which will help to achieve the goals of the companies set by the management
boards. The competency principle will help to continue the ability of the business entities to
become capable enough in order to sustain in this highly competitive market conditions
present globally. The coherence principle aids the companies in in arranging a meaningful
condition in the workplaces, where there will be an involvement by the managers of human
resource on various activities performed by them. On the contrary, the principles related to
operations management aids the companies to recognize the crucial driving forces behind the
process of decision making, which involves planning, designing as well as organizing the
whole processes. These principles assist the business entities to transfer and support the
companies in order to get better results. Focus can be made on the business objectives in an
effective and efficient way to accomplish the standards (Purce, 2014).
Project Management and Operations Management Principles
The principles of project management are needed by the various projects captured by
the business entities globally. The projects overall are brief as well as unique. The principle
of success helps in creation of successful goods for the customers. It is actually difficult to

consumers. The commitment principle involves commitment which is mutually accepted by
the sponsors of the project and the team associated with it. The managers in the operations
departments need to work with passion on the projects allotted to them. It can be noted that
standardizing assists the organizations to save themselves from tough challenges (Silvius &
Schipper, 2014).
Importance of Standardizing a Profession
It has been seen that in many a times, the organizations need to make better various
kind of policies apart from the rules and regulations to maintain the business operations of
their companies. In simple words, a code of ethics can be described as the normal policies of
the organizations used in running the day to day business operations. These code of ethics
help to establish the least standards required by the owners of the businesses, employees
working there and the managers to follow them. The operations of the businesses can be
improved or developed by the help of these code of ethics, which will, in turn, help in
standardizing the professionalism by professional service companies. The ethical values are
structured in such a way that it will help in providing directions while functioning with
normal people and other business entities. The values involved in the code of ethics aids in
commanding the rules on which the companies can tackle the negotiations in the contract,
questions and feedbacks of customers and adverse business conditions. It can be said that all
these will assist to standardize the professionalism for the business entities (Teenstra et al,
2014).

Potential Policies
The Code of Ethics was violated by the CEO of Yahoo, Mr. Scott Thompson. He joined
the organization in early 2012 was written in his resume that he hold a degree in computer
science, along with a degree in accounts. Some of the shareholders alleged that he was
misleading himself as well as the organization. It has also violated the rules and regulations
of the company. The three policies which need to be in traduced in order to avoid these kind
of situations in the workplaces are (Storch et al, 2013):
1. The work environment – This will help to possess a proper work balance in the
organization of Yahoo, where the resumes should be crossed checked for each of the
employees of the organizations including the employees in the management level.
2. Corruption – Fraud persons will not be entertained in the organization and serious steps
should be taken in order to reduce the corruption by the person like Thompson.
3. General harassment It will help to reduce the normal harassment on the
organizational culture of Yahoo, which was caused by Thompson.
