Introduction
Role of Human Resources has gone traditional recruitment and termination or offering
induction to an in-depth position further emphasizing on another facet of an organization such as
focusing on employee engagement and satisfaction (Treven, 2017). Not every company values or
efficiently recognizes its human resource unit. Ford Company USA in such a case identifies its
HR unit as means of support as the department proficiently provides high revenue on the
business’s investments in its people (Ford Corporate, 2018). The following paper will offer the
way Ford USA has been valuing its HR department and thus gaining utmost success with high
employee satisfaction and engagement.
Discussion
At Ford USA, the company aims to advance further to not only in delivering high range
cars but also providing high satisfaction and agreement to its employees. The company is
developing successfully without sacrificing its revenue rates (Ford Motor Companies, 2018).
Treven, (2017) revealed that in the past years, Ford USA has been persistent to offer substantial
pension scheme plans to its workforce and delivered remarkable profit-sharing pension plans to
its U. S hourly employees and amplified company’s shareholder dividend. The HR unit of Ford
U.S primarily comprised of HR Labor Relations Representative who are accountable for
successfully developing company’s labor policies by supervising the management of industrial
labor relations and further negotiating mutual bargaining agreements with the unions (Ford
Corporate, 2018). The Labor Relations Representative further is responsible for grievance
handling from unionized employees and proficiently ensures compliance with the Ford’s contract
following to the consultation procedure with the executive management (Ford Corporate, 2018).
