The report is based on the human resource management practices and the values in which it is
been explained that what sort of actions are being made by the human resource management
when it comes to resolving the issues and conflicts in the management. The report is about Tesco
Company which is one of the leading companies in the United Kingdom and dealing in grocery
and other stuff online and having a big market with a number of organizational members,
therefore, it is needed to practice the HRM function in the management. So the report is based on
these factors in which is been explained that what sort of benefits are there of HRM and it is
been analyzed that why the relationship between employee and employer is important what sort
of legislation values are to be implemented.

resources in your chosen organization
As TESCO is a leading organization which is concerned to make sure that the workforce should
be properly managed and that is something which needs the effort. So the Human resource
management in TESCO takes the initiative to manage all these aspects. The purpose of the
Human Resource Management in TESCO is as followed:
Identify the need of Human Capital- TESCO is the organization which is kept on
growing and that is something which increased the channel graph of management
structure which means that the management may need more workforce to make the work
done effectively. So the job of the Humana Resource Management is to identify that in
which department the requirement is there and how soon this requirement can be fulfilled
(Armstrong and Taylor, 2014).
Forecast the need for Human Capital- As the company is increasing the value in the
market day by day this is very sure that in future also the company would need the more
employees to be hired. So here the job of human resource management is to forecast that
what can be requirement of the workforce in future so that rather than being surprised,
TESCO is pre-prepared for the future needs and this is how the management will take the
effective move in order to manage the workforce and the other resource in the
Organization (Beardwell and Beardwell, 2014).
Identify the engagement of the current employees- There are lots of employees
working in TESCO that they all are engaged or allocated with some responsibilities.
Though they are monitored by supervision of the management according to the hierarchy
but still the human resource management monitors the engagement of the employee
towards his or her responsibility of the job so that challenges to the job can be overcome
with the help of HRM.
Ensuring the deserving employees in the management- The human resource

TESCO and the accordingly recruiting the suitable and deserving candidates in the
management.
