Principle Accountabilities of Clinical Pharmacist
Optimize the patient outcome with the help of the judicious use of the medicines
Educating the patients pertaining to appropriate use of the medicines

al., 2017).
Develop the clinical pharmacy programs based on the policies along with the
regulations
Reviewing the records of the patients for determination of appropriateness of the
medication therapy
Evaluate the condition of the patient that can help in ensuring that the heath of the
patient is restored
Skills
Communicating effectively with the patients, caregivers along with their families
Developing the ability of the written communication that is appropriate for the
audience
Using the verbal communications that is tailored to the patient-specific environment
Having the appropriate level of assertiveness, empathy along with the respect that can
help in dealing with the problems of the patients (Dunn et al., 2015).
Knowledge
Should possess in-depth knowledge in relation to pharmacology, pharmacotherapy
and the pathophysiology that can help them in effectively treating the patient
