In hospitality workplaces, injuries to the employees happen frequently as their work is
associated with a lot of movements from one place to another. Therefore, employers need to
be aware of the management and handling of such workplace accidents immediately and
effectively. All companies which employ workers and staff are responsible for their safety
and health whilst they all are working on-site. In this case, any critical situation may occur at
the workplace or out on-site, hence the employer must take the required steps for ensuring a
safe environ. In addition to that, many health and safety laws are there to be followed for
averting such as workplace injuries or accidents. Contrary, when an employer does not own
proper processes in place then they can be prosecuted for the same. In this context, workplace
accidents within the hospitality workplaces often happen whenever the appropriate
procedures are not followed during an activity. The accidents can happen due to employees’
faults or employers’ faults. Subsequently, employers always have a legal obligation for
ensuring that there all kind of employees have had the exact safety and health training in a
way that the injuries caused by workplace incidents can be reduced largely (Edwards, 2019).
As per the given scenario, when one of the employees slipped on the office floor as well as
her arm has broken. Thus, in order to investigate this workplace accident one required to
explore all of the circumstances which have caused the employee to slip. Therefore, for this
step-by-step investigation and injury management, the management must follow below steps
effectively:

Step III: Cooperating with worker's compensation
The employers must cooperate with their workers’ compensation carrier as well as their
attorneys whenever a claim has pursued in such situations.
Step IV: Welcome the Employee Back
