INTRODUCTIONHuman resources refer to all staff members who are working on regular basis to putefforts for completing different tasks and generate required outcomes. It can be described as thewhole work force of an organisation performing their roles at various levels to attain betterproductivity as well as profitability. Human resource management can be defined as to allocateseveral activities or events to workers as per their field of expertise which helps to gain betteroutputs (Anderson, 2013). This assignment will discuss about purpose and functions of humanresource along with different types of recruitment & selection approaches including theirstrengths or weaknesses. It also involves explanation for benefits to employer & employee bydifferent HRM practices and impact of employee relations on decision making.
