INTRODUCTION
Human resource management is the process of recruiting, staffing and selecting
competent personnel’s for working effectively and achieving goals and objectives of
organisations. Efficient management of human resources and competent employees in
organisations helps in gaining competitive advantage for businesses. This function of
business is very important in company as to recruit and retaining potential employees for
maintaining effective workplace culture. New build PLC, established for spending shortage
of affordable housing facilities. This report provides details about the current HRM trends
and problems the organization face and their impact. Also stating the panning by HRM team
by applying appropriate theories and practices. Further, discussing various considerations by
HRM team take to perform recruitment and selection process. Lastly stating
recommendations for resolving problems being identified, also giving 3 practical realistic
solutions company can implement.

Human resources in company are valuable asset as it helps in achieving goals,
successfully. By aligning right and competent workforce with strategies for accomplishing
business goals helps ion increasing performance and establishing competitive advantage for
company. HRM trend are important for business as it helps in analysing business practices
being followed and to add value by adopting various effective strategy for enhancing
employees experience by aligning al the functions with the task allotted (Bourgeault,
Chamberland-Rowe and Simkin, 2021). The recent trends and problems being faced by the
New build PLC company are:
Discovering right talent for completing task: With the rise in competition level and
producing optimum quality of predicts for the company. Discovering suitable staff
personnel’s and recruiting them in company is the challenge and problem being faced.
according with the recent trend, HR manger for the company have great responsibility for
recruiting right staff for performing right job as for completing building sites and various
projects of the New build PLC.

Recruiting suitable skilled staff personnel’s: Also recruiting skilled crafts as of also
unskilled personnel’s for performing building work of various projects sites (Salikov,
Logunova and Kablashova, 2019). as skills crafts personnel’s including plumbers, carpenters
and electricians for performing different work at constructions sites of New build.
Upskilling Trained professionals: Upskilling and grooming various employees with
right skill and knowledge must be done (Braga and et.al., 2021). Also recruiting skilled
professional as of hiring engineers, architects professionals for taking care of the sites of
company
Artificial intelligence and recruiting employees ethically: Company must recruit
employees which have knowledge of various automation techniques. This new trend impact
new build as the recruitment and staffing employees with less skilled and knowledge of
automation reduces production of company. As for developing affordable building and
hinders completing various projects on time (Bratton and et.al., 2021). also recruiting
employees by considering all ethical terms is a trend, as this impact company operations as
for providing equal wages to skilled and unskilled labourers for completing project of
building sites. Also, ensuring safety and proper health conditions for skilled and unskilled
workers engaged at various sites for completing projects.
Training workers: Training staff personnel’s for performing various task at different
sites for completing building projects effectively is necessary. Providing training for
developing professional skills also various abilities for constructing building projects of
company (new build) is important (Gupta, 2022). This trend of providing training and
compensating employees for meeting deadline of project. as it hinders company, as effective
training is required for performing professional work at constructing building site.
Furthermore, non-trained staff will reduce production and give poor job performance.

and informal activities take place as planning, marketing, developing management and
workforce for achieving goals. It mainly comprises of 5 stages, the start up stage, growth
stage, maturity phase, renewal phase and decline phase. At first stage business established
various competencies for achieving success at initial level. Here individuals recognise various
opportunities of skills of various employees for grasping opportunity and creating value. Also
structure of organisation is being established by taking various decisions of the procedures
adapted by the company.
By using this HRM theory helps in planning for retaining long term employees’

driving forces in all these stages are the nature of human resources. as by determine these
driving forces and minimising impacts of them, helps in deciding organisational structure
which supports employee’s innovation, team working ability, high performance and

efficient recruiting procedure for recruiting and selecting right candidate and
staff to complete buildings and sites projects of company.
 Also engaging current employees for hiring the competent and suitable staff
for completing large projects of company. this is the most effective strategy
can be used by company as by taking suggestion from employees for
recommending personnel’s for performing work at building large sites and
projects.
 By using clear language and searching with sourcing tool: As by suing clear
language for recruiting professionals for performing work as of architecture
and engineering work for constructing various sites.
 Also as by , sourcing right staff personals by searching on online websites and
apps. as various websites available as searching on linked in, glass door,
indeed . As these apps helps in searching for architectures for designing and

building the structure of large projects and buildings, also helps in researching
about civil engineers required for constructing various sites.
 Planning and embracing automation recruitment: This is effective solution for
recruiting employees. it uses various machinery for analysing recruitments
procedure and executing it automotive. As recruiting socially by using various
sites and using application of tracking personnel’s for performing various
roles.
 Furthermore, company must approach to various freelancers and contract
workers for hiring unskilled labourers for performing work at new project sites
as for designing housing flats and offices to perform work as of labourers.
 Further recruiting professional candidates at the post for performing engineer
and architecture work must be done by filling form for the vacant job in the
company. as this is the key tool which helps in effective recruiting, staffing
and selecting right candidate for performing work as it helps in assessing best
applicant for vacant job in new build company.

very important roles as for recruiting and selecting appropriate personnel for preforming
work in effective manner in various firms. New build PLC set up for responding the shortage
of housing in England. Various HRM trends and problems of company being identifies as the
recruitment of skilled personnel’s, also various professional for completing various projects
required by new build PLC. The main problems is to recruit skilled craft personnel’s as of
plumber, carpenters for working on various building sites of the company. HRM teams plans
for recruiting and selecting employees’ personnel’s by using various theories as of
organisational lifecycle theory, strategic contingency theory and general system theory. HRM
teams ensures taking all ethical practices by providing efficient training, conducting
development plans and counselling various diverse workforce.
