Introduction
Human Resource Management (HRM) system is the best part of an
organziation, as it manages various business operations of that organziation with a
high level of efficiency and accuracy. An organization can improve its business
functions through an HRM system. It provides different benefits to the company,
which are necessary for the company to enhance thier profit and revenue. In
addition, HRM system has managed to hire, and other processes (Nankervis, Baird,
Coffey, & Shields, 2017).
In this essay, attracting, and retaining staff members will discuss using
different theoretical and practical concepts. This essay will discuss about the two
sectors, which are banking and financial sector, as banking sector makes huge
impact on the financial status of an organziation. There are many advantages of the
HRM system in an organziation, such as hiring, strategy planning, process
alignment, and many others. This essay will explain about the various advantages
and drawbacks of HRM.
Attracting and retaining staff
There are various methods to attract employees towards the company for
joining them for a better future. In addition, there are some important factors, which
make HRM system most important in an organziation. HRM system has hired best
leaders for an organziation, which can improve the various business processes
through their skills and qualification. Apart from that, leadership makes huge impact
on a firm in its development and growth (Van Waeyenberg & Decramer, 2018).
In the case of Gulf countries, most of the companies having a strong HRM
department to manage all the business processes (Achoui, 2009). There are basic
concepts and techniques to attract the employees for particular organziation. There
is some basic sense of attracting employees in the organziation, which are
negotiation, improvement, and many others (Tseng & Levy, 2018).
Moreover, HRM is a necessary part of and because of its various services and
management. HRM helps in industrial relations, as they have skilled and qualified

employees, which have effective business communication (Taylor, 2011). In
addition, HRM has provided different frameworks for the management of various
applications and functions of the firm (Rouse, 2012). HRM has managed all the
strategies and planning of the firm to improve the profit and revenue of the
company. It has managed changing environment of the firm with different
techniques (Razali & Vrontis, 2010).
In addition, there are huge challenges in front of HRM because of the global
environment (Nankervis, Baird, Coffey, & Shields, 2017). There are some important
factors of HRM, which can manage various issues and challenges in contemporary
organziation (Nagendra & Deshpande, 2014). There are some issues with changes
in the infrastructure and processes from different stakeholders. Therefore, HRM and
leaders have required managing the resistance of employees. In addition, a firm can
manage work design challenges using HRM in the global environment. Many
companies have worked at international level, which has managed by the HRM
team (Mayhew, 2019).
Moreover, firms can attract people using various approaches and they can
use talent of those people for development of their business with high level of
efficiency (Ling & Mohd Nasurdin, 2010). The company can use basic things in the
selection of employees, which are self-motivation, cultural sensitivity, managing
work, and family, ability to manager cultural and ethical differences, resilience,
linguistic ability, adaptability, building, and maintaining international teams (Kapil,
2015). There are various things, which must consider by a firm in the selection of
the employees, which are the labor market, employee referral, external sources,
advertisement, recruitment agencies, educational institutions, social networking
sites, and outsourcing sources (Juhdi, Pa'wan, & Hansaram, 2013).
Furthermore, there are some important factors in selection processes. It
makes huge impact on the attraction and retention of the employee in the firm. In
addition, there are some critical changes in the processes of selection process of
employee, which are interview, examination, and others (Hervas-Oliver, 2013).
There are some changes in the interview processes to attract the interviewee.
Besides, the direct interview makes different impacts on the basic processes of the
section processes (Goel & Parmar, 2012).
