Introduction
Placenta is plant science based business that leads the world and aims at the
development of open style of communication as well as collaboration between the employees
as well. The main aim of the organization is to enhance the levels of involvement of
employees in the process of decision making. The report will be based on the analysis of the
organizational structure that has been developed in Placenta and corporate culture of the
organization as well. Management style developed in Placenta will be discussed in the report
in detail (Alvesson and Sveningsson 2015).
1. Organizational structure of Placenta
The flat organizational structure of Placenta will be implemented in order to improve
the levels of staff motivation in an effective manner. Flat organizational structure is based on
less number of hierarchies that further helps in increasing the levels of involvement of the
employees in process of decision making. Motivation levels of the staff can be increased with
the help of increased engagement and involvement in the organizational processes. The staff
or employees of the organization will be affected by the levels of engagement. The decisions
based on different types of organizational aspects and situations are made with the help of a
flat organizational structure (Bratton and Gold 2017).
Motivation of staff can be influenced in a huge manner by development of effective
organizational structure. Lack of hierarchies in the organization is considered to be helpful
for increasing the levels of collaboration between the employees and the managers of the
organization. Proper levels of collaboration are also able to increase the speed of decision
making process. The decision making process of the organization can affect the ways by
which different situations can be faced. Placenta is able to develop high levels of employee
engagement and collaboration with the help of effective formation of flat organizational
