INTRODUCTIONThis report is on the selection and recruitment procedure of the candidates carried out by the humanresource management. This report shows how the creation of the recruitment and selection portfolioand completing the practical activity to select and recruit staff for a company within the ArcadiaGroup including the new Employment Relations and Human Resources Management processes andpractices in recruitment and selection process. Moreover, this report shows fair assessment of theinterview candidates and the factors that influenced human resource management decision-makingthroughout the process (Mondy and Martocchio, 2016).Recruitment & selection processThe human resource Management of the organization carries out the recruitment and selection ofthe candidate for the eligible position. Selection of the candidate is carried out various steps. Thehuman resource management is also responsible for fair decision-making for the candidate.The selection and recruiting procedure by Human Resource Management is carried out by thefollowing steps.ReceptionThe company is known by the people it employees. Therefore, the company creates the firstimpression at the reception stage. The team assigned for hiring process must present itself in thefriendly manner. The team must ensure that each individual candidate must be getting all theopportunities presented by the hiring team in the clear & honest manner. It must be taken care bythe Human Resource management team that no candidate has been discriminated at this stage byallowing each willing candidate to take part in the hiring process.Initial screeningThis step is carried out in the selection process to cut the cost of the organization by letting onlysuitable candidates to take part in the process on the basis of fair and justified terms. This screeningis on the basis of various categories according to the job profile or the type of task which thecandidate has to perform while working within the organization. This screening is on the basis ofage, job location choice, aptitude, expected salary, experience, education etc. All these screeningprocesses must be properly justified and should be fair to avoid discrimination. The decision-making step taken at this point by human resource management will be choosing amongalternatives.Application blankThe application blank gives the details of the candidate applying for the job. This application blankgenerally consists of personal data, marital status, physical data, educational background,
