Introduction:
In the roofing organization, the problem is that due to the use of the internal referrals
process, it is critical to recruit and select skilled workers. The project is to select possible
solutions for the recruitment and selection process in the construction industry. This study is
important as the reader can understand the best possible process of recruitment and selection of
skilled workers.
Background Information:
Kelowna has the main labor force in retail trade as well as construction. As there are
various industries within Kelowna, the younger generation does not want to pursue their interest
in the construction field, that’s why there is a shortage of skilled workers. Therefore, it is
important to select the best recruitment and selection method for hiring workers.
Best possible solution:
To overcome the problem of shortage of workers, the company can hire a recruitment
agency to handle the procedure, which can save their time and effort. Moreover, they can
develop a job description and advertise online so that they can fill their vacancies on time to
overcome the problem of shortage of skilled workers.
Recommended Solution:
Recruitment and Selection plays a crucial step for any business if they want to expand in
the market. In the company, there is a shortage of skilled workers, so the company needs to take
the necessary steps. I recommend the organization to develop the well-designed job description
and then advertise online so that the company will get skilled workers and the company is also
able to manage databases for skilled employees which will help them in the future.
